"I think I should have jumped into that collider the moment it was on!" Doc Ock growled before being tossed around in a ball, as usual. She had escaped jail 9 times only to be met by the same fate. " Doctora pulpo, you really don't give up do you?" Spider-Man chuckled. "Especially being hit by 9 different things all the 9 times you escaped jail! Bus, truck, lorry, tram, another bus..." "Ok, ok, just stop!" screamed a frustrated Doc Ock as she wriggled around, helpless in that big ball of webs. He stared at her with a fake annoyed look as he brought out his burner phone.
"Is it Doc Ock again?!" a demanding voice asked from the other side "Yup, I think we are going to be doing this for the rest of our lives!" Miles attempted to crack a joke but it was futile. All he got was a sigh.
"Where?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." droned Miles. He never took the time to pay attention to street names.
"Spider-Man?"
"That...alley behind Benny's?" Miles held his breath, fearing for the worst
"Ok cool." he responded
Miles let it all out. While he was waiting, he was playing football with Doc Ock. She kept on saying she would have a better plan but he kept saying "Ok, I hope you get hit by a train this time!" A little while later, Spider-Man heard the wailing sound of the police sirens' and stopped. "Don't roll away, the cops are coming, can't wait for the tenth time!" Miles laughed as he leaped off the building he was standing on. "Adiós!"
Miles took a hearty breath as he watched the glowing sunset. He could finally head home. After a day of hectic tests and having to stop Octopus for the ninth time, all he wanted to do was relax. As he was swinging, he saw a commotion going on, the police were there. He didn't need to stop. The police were getting way better at their jobs since Spider-people came swinging around town. Peter, Peter, Peter, Peni...
Gwen.
Every time he thought about her his heart would skip a beat. He was over beating around the bush, he really wanted her. He wanted to tell her how he felt about her on multiple occasions but there were more pressing matters to attend to. But, before she left, he could have said anything other than "Friends?" What makes it worse is that he had entered the age where people started doing... things. He felt a pang of jealousy every time he went out and saw people kissing or even holding hands. "I would kill the President just to hold her perfect, delicate hands" he thought. He dodged an eagle nearby. I've never wanted to hold a hand so bad in my life, I swear." He saw he was near his home
"I wonder if she ever thinks of me?"
Then he slammed face first on the wall.
???'s POV
I had just managed not being killed (again) and now I'm in my lab. I'm trying to find the perfect chemical to use in a test subject that I have here in my lab. Aha! I've finally found the perfect solution. I chuckled as I neared the test subject with the liquid. Spider-Man, the tenth won't be as easy as it sounds... Wait! I see a spider scuttling by. I groaned in preparation to smash it. But I stopped. Great idea. "Oh, why didn't I think of this before?!" I cackled into the night.
A/N: DUN DUN DUUUUUUN. I'm sure you know who the villain is, but tell me anyways in the comments!
