I deadpanned at my screen as I looked at all of the typos my friend sent. I started to type back as my mom went on about how many things that could go wrong.

the car slowed down as I looked up, the ginormous airport on my right side. I reeled back as I realized we were here. "well, we're here!" mom yelled as the car stopped. I slowly got out of the car after the long 2 hour drive to the airport. the slightly dirty pavement underneath my feet was quite different from the small town I lived in. everyone seemed to be in a rush as the big screens that showed the plane flight times changed. As I walked over to the trunk of my mom's car my phone made another ding, 'god, I need to put this on silent'

I yelled and waved as she drove away. I turned away to see the huge airport behind me.
