A GREAT PRETENDER

Blinded by your beauty

I carelessly fell for you

The feeling consumed me,

I thought I love you.

Everyday was a fairytale

Full of joy and inspiration

Shadow days when I fail,

You are the source of motivation

But, you never knew I existed

Its the part I was depressed and frustrated

A single smile would make it all

But no, you pushed me more for me to fall

You are a great pretender

A deceiver and heart breaker

Underneath that pretty face

Is a demon from my nightmares

I thought things were okay

Always been satisfied by your stares

But I can tell from miles away

A storm is coming, a scare

I wouldn't forget what you said

It broke my heart in dread

You wouldn't understand,

After all you never cared

A great pretender, you are

How I wish you'd change

The wound left a scar

Marked until the end of my days

Memories you left are priceless

I wouldn't want to live in them

You were just a test,

I guess I failed, again

That word from your bitter tongue,

Sinked in I was hurt so

One day you'll crawl in my ground,

But I will leave you with a no.

I am finally awake

From the nightmare you controlled

You were a beautiful mistake,

I will never commit anymore

Thank you for showing me what you are truly

I'm finally set free

I regret making you a part of me

But knowing you I'm happy

This poem was made out of heartbreak. Hahaha I'm going Taylor Swift at that moment lol. XD A guy tore my heart in pieces so I wrote him a poem HAHA.
