Opening his eyes to a field was something he did not expect. The breeze was just as soft as it was the previous night at the park; yet, this time, the sun's soft beams hit his skin and face. His eyes wandered from the soft clouds in the sky, that flew by slowly, to the soft grass beneath his feet and all around him. Blue and purple mountains in the distance made this view one to remember. There were butterflies fluttering all around him and hundreds of flowers as far as the eye could see. A soft sigh was released into the air, not sad but of content.

A pair of strong arms wrapped around him from behind with such a gentle touch, as if the short male would break. It was warm, loving, and all Kenma could think was this is what he wanted. His shoulders fell and his body relaxed against the male who embraced him. He didn't have to look, his mind and soul already told him who it was. He knew who's embrace made him feel so safe and calm.

"What are you doing here Tetsurō?" He said barely above a whisper, letting his eyes fall shut. Kuroo pulled the shorter male closer to him, making Kenma take a couple steps back to him, letting his back rest against the others chest.

Kuroo let out a soft chuckle, leaning forward and down to press a soft kiss on the top part of his head. "You say this like you don't want me here. If that were the truth, I wouldn't be holding you right now, and you wouldn't be enjoying it." He smiled softly, already knowing how Kenma felt.

"Who said I'm enjoying this, rooster head?" He let out a puff of air pass his lips in embarrassment. Kuroo wasn't wrong but it wasn't like Kenma was going to admit it.

Kuroo let a soft sigh pass his lips as his arms fell back to his sides. Kenma felt the loss of contact and turned around, now being able to see the captain of his team. Kuroo saw the worried look in his eyes, his smile only growing at the reaction got, the one he wanted.

"If you weren't, you would tell me to stop Kitten." That name. That damn nickname that made his stomach flutter like millions of butterflies were swarming. Kuroo moved his right hand to cup the right cheek of the two toned haired boy. Kenma immediately leaned into the familiar touch, proving what Kuroo said to be true. "This is what you want Kenma; what your heart wants. This wouldn't be happening if you didn't."

Kenma looked up at him, knowing he was right but wouldn't accept the feelings for himself. He didn't like him. They were just friends.. Neither male knew what to say or do but that didn't matter to either of them. Kuroo's left hand wrapped around Kenma's waist, resting on his lower back and pulling him closer. Kenmas hands moved his hands up to rest on Kuroo's chest. "Tell me to stop Ken and I will..." He leaned forward and down, slowly so Kenma could pull away if he got uncomfortable.

But that never happened. Instead, Kenma's heels slowly lifted off the ground, making himself taller. His eyes trailed from the golden hues down to the lips he was about to connect with. What was this feeling? Why did he enjoy this so much? Why was his heart pounding? Friends don't make you feel like this; make you feel this wanted and loved. So, what were they doing?

"Wake up Kenma.." Kuroo whispered, letting his soft breathing hit the others lips softly. What? Wake up? From what? What was he talking about?

"What..?" Kenma couldn't think straight. At first he didn't even process the words, his mind only focusing on the heat he felt between them and the ones rising on his cheeks. All he could hear was Kuroo's soft breathing and his own, loud, heart beat.

"Wake up Kenma.." Those same words being repeated. He didn't understand what Kuroo meant, wake up? What was he supposed to wake up from?

"Wake up? Wake up from what?" he asked quietly, a soft red tinting his cheeks as there was only an inch between them now.

"Wake up.." was the last thing he heard before he felt the contact when Kuroo had finally closed the gap between them.

(🥀741 words. Not as much as last time. A pretty short chapter I guess but that's still a lot of words. :> Looks like Kenma is slowly figuring out what he wants. Part four is so long. Comment your thoughts before moving on. Hope you enjoy it!! ~Mika🥀)
