[THIRD POV]

"H-He's (Y/N)'s ex?!" everyone shouted at the same time. 

Well, at least one person knew.

Kazuko rolled his eyes and stuffed his hands in his pocket, leaning against the metal railing. "Damn right I was."

Misaki sighed. "Kazuko-san, please be respectful. These are (Y/N)'s friends you're talking to. Moreover, her brother, her current love interest, her best-friend, and her precious upperclassmen."

"Misaki!" Madoka yelled, "You knew about this?! For how long?!"

"From the day Kazuko-san asked her out to the day he dumped her." 

Madoka then turned to her cousin. "You son of a bitch! I knew you had something going on with (Y/N)!"

"What gave me away." he replied sarcastically.

"You always asked about her! At first, I thought you were just interested because she was a great volleyball player- but now it all makes sense!"

Kazuko rolled his eyes again, but at his cousin. "You always make fun of me and my crushes, so I didn't tell you shit. Plus, it lasted one month. We didn't even do anything."

"What do you mean by anything?" Tobio was suspicious. 

Kazuko looked up at him with his dark green eyes, glaring at him. "You know, Tobio-san, there's more to the story than me just dumping her."

"I can't believe you," Tobio spat at the second year, "You fucking dated my sister and broke her heart-"

"Now now," Misaki put herself between the two boys, "Tobio-kun, what Kazuko-san said was true, there's more to the story than that."

Tsukishima watched as Misaki placed herself in between the two, glancing at both of their expressions. He and Kuroo were more than shocked to find out that Kazuko, the boy who has always talked smack about (Y/N), was actually her ex.

"Misaki," Madoka calls, "You knew this entire time, and you didn't say anything about it-"

"With all due respect, Madoka," Misaki says rather blandly, "I am (Y/N)'s best-friend; I know everything there is to know about her."

"(Y/N) didn't want anyone else to know that she broke up with Kazuko-kun because at that time, she wanted us to focus on Nationals-"

"Of course she did," Kazuko scoffed, "(Y/N)-san didn't even care that we dated. She didn't care about me or my feelings."

"Shut up," Misaki replied harshly, "You knew nothing about her, so stop acting like you did just because you spent one month entitled as boyfriend and girlfriend-"
