[ work below contains minor spoiler from my upcoming book. additionally, don't even think about stealing or copying my work! create your own, bitch. ]
─── GRAN SPEAKING !
I was in 9th grade when I first thought of this psychological horror story. It's so good inside my head, that I'm scared of writing it off the page until now. Fret not though, I've been juggling with it and my current work since I don't have the ability to fixate on one thing lmao.
You want a spill from this ? imagine until dawn and black mirror in ten chapters. that's the premise of this story ! I'm not sure when I'm going to release this but the prologue and the first chapters are on the works now, yay uwu.
I finished the book cover around 2:13 AM and started around 12:30 AM if I recall ? and I'm so proud of the final output. not only I've learned something new from YouTube, MAN it also improved my photomanipulation skills !

─── DECONSTRUCTION PROCESS !
To be honest , this is yet another spontaneous work of mine in the middle of the night. My mind sparks so well at a time like this , but mostly I'm dead inside lol.
What I wanted for my cover was to capture the horror-like set in the forest , with little details of science-fiction here. So there are tinges of inspiration from STRANGER THINGS and other 80s horror movie posters.
I also learned about this new plugin called PEXELS. It's a software within Photoshop that lets you search any free stock photos. They're also HIGH QUALITY , too !

I learned about this from PiXimperfect on YouTube. If you want to watch his whole process about this certain plugin , here you go:
SO GOING BACK , I looked up some photos of LISA ( because she's the main character of this story ) then went on doing some independent colour-correcting and gradation. I'm still fond of using other artist's PSDs but I wanted to challenge myself by creating my own.

─── TIP/S OF THE DAY !
Let's go with a simpler one for now.
Whenever I create a new book cover , I make sure that the size of the book cover is 512 x 800 , 300 PPI. When you're going to find pictures , take note of the size of the image you're looking up ! If it's beyond the size of your frame ( that is 512 x 800 ) ,then you're good to go. If it's below , you might want to find another one.
[ GOODLUCK AND HAVE FUN , FELLOW PADAWAN ! ]
