Forever Mine !

Chapter 3

Heyyyy..
I wasn't sure for how to start the third chapter. So took some time to think it out.

Here's another chapter.

The tapping of the raindrops in the midst of nowhere. Those eyes are so familiar, staring at me. Those eyes, they are dense, ocean like waiting for ages to speak out something so very important. Those hands reaching out to me in that drizzle. The mist has covered him! Tears rolling down those eyes, I can feel it! He is in pain. He needs me! His hands stretched towards me for help!

"What is it? What do you need! "
" Tell me! "
"Wait I'm coming. Wait!"

"Don't leave, don't leave me again" I hear a husky sound from within that fog !

His hands start disappearing in the haze of the mist. Its showering again.
I can't find him anywhere. Where did he go? Yeah. I see him again. He is there, standing in that chilled wet road.

"Wait, don't go!" I run towards him in hurry.
"Wait for me, wait!" I shout out to him.

The alarm rings.
Its 6 in the morning, Amber looks into her clock.
The same old dream again?
She finds herself all drenched in sweat sitting near the window. She looks out of the window trying to figure what just happened.

Yeah, yesterday night after dinner, Amber goes to her room, sits near the window and stares again towards the sky, her daily old routine. As always, she feels like a part of her is missing. She is missing out something very important in her life. Forever and ever she has been searching for that lost part of hers. In her sketches, her poetries. But the void remained. What is it, she thinks that can complete the emptiness which she feels within; Ain't there anyone who could tell her what all these she felt was about. She sighs and stares at the night sky. Calm and cool.

Finally, she figures this is what happened and how she fell asleep right near the window. Once she recollects her thoughts, she finds the clock ticking. She gets up and freshen ups and stands near the wardrobe. As always Amber's confused of what to wear. She is always not into makeup and getting dolled up. Helpless, she pulls out her regular plain white top and blue jeans. Does her hair and pulls over her daily blue denim her mom gifted her last birthday.

All set for the first day of the college, Amber takes in a deep breath and says to herself looking into the mirror," So Miss Amber Brown, ready for the new mess?" laughs to herself and grabs her bag. She rushes down the stairs.
She finds her mom working, compiling and sorting the pages of the current book she was working on.

"Mom have your breakfast first, then do your work" says Amber.

" Just a second honey, I'm almost done. It is the finalization day. I need to meet my editor today and this totally skipped out of my mind!" sighs Ava.

"It's okay mom" assures Amber.

"Yeah it has to be okay, how can I be so unmindful! " Ava says while she lets off her weariness. Pulls herself back to motion.

Amber pours two glasses of juice. One for her and one for her mom. Grabs onto her sandwich. While eating she looks at her mom and figures, she was growing old. Not out of age, but out of all the tensions and worries. No doubt she was over wroughting herself with all the responsibilities. The upheavals she goes all day just to bring home a bunch of smiles.

"Amber, what's that you are thinking honey? Is everything alright?" Ava asks all worried.

Amber smiles and says " Yeah mom. Was just looking at this astonishing beauty sitting just in front of me."

"Oh honey, I love you so much! " Ava almost gets tears in her eyes.

" I love you too mom! " Amber replies.

Amber looks at the clock at the opposite wall of the kitchen's dinning space. It's already 8 o'clock.

" Okay mom, I need to leave. Take care of yourself and do eat your lunch. Don't miss that." Amber says showing her concern towards her mom.

"Okay my lady. I will surely have my lunch, I promise." says Ava adding a little wink so as to give happy morning to her lovely daughter.

Amber leaves.
Walking down the road she catches up with Summer.

"Hey Amber."

"Hi Summer."

" Looking great as usual."

Amber laughs "Stop it Summer, I really couldn't figure as usual what to wear and I grabbed whatever I could."

"Oh! is it?" Laughed Summer "that's what you do since forever."
"Yet so charming?" Summer winks.

"Gosh Summer stop it!" Amber almost about to hit Summer with her bag.

Both laugh and giggle. They move towards the college gate. Entering the college gate, they see a big crowd gathered near the auditorium.

"What's the crowd for" Summer asked out of curiosity.

"Who's knows" Amber shrugs her shoulder.

"Let's go and check." Summer says showing interest to know what's the matter about.

Both of them move forward towards the crowd..
