Forever Mine !

Chapter 7

Here again I'm with a new chapter.
Let's find out what happens next.

"Mom!" Amber screams as she finds Ava lying unconscious on the floor near the dining table.

She lifts her up and brings a glass of water and sprinkles it on her face.

Thick tears roll down her cheeks as she softly calls her mother.

"Mom, mom!  It's me Amber here. Get up. Look at me. " listening to the slightest voice coming from far across, Ava opens her eyes slowly as she gains back get consciousness. She holds the chair for support as Amber lifts her up and places her on the couch nearby in the sitting arrangements. Amber puts a cushion under her mom's head.

Ava notices tears in the eyes of her young beautiful daughter and gets up jumping.

"Oh Darling!" Ava says as she hugs her daughter tighter than she ever did.

"It is alright. I'm fine now. " Ava assures Amber as she wipes off the tears from Amber's cheeks.

"Wait, don't move. Sit right there." Amber orders her Ava as she was her mom.

" I will bring you some water." Amber gets up and pours a glass of crystal clear water for her mom from the glass jug kept at the center of the dinning table.

She realizes her mom's breakfast was lying on the table covered as she had left it. 

Amber takes the glass of water to her mom and  frowns at her mom making her two eyebrows meet and enquires - " So you didnot have your breakfast!"

"Come let's eat together now. I will cook for you your favorite spaghetti and sause."

Amber smiles at her mom and both go to the kitchen and start preparing thier dinner.

" Why didn't you eat" Amber asks in a much milder tone now.

" I was running late already my child. I got 13  missed calls from my editor and had to meet him up for the editing of my current novel. "
" I couldn't reach late this time. It is my last opportunity. I don't wanna loose it again."

"Life has been difficult my child, the costs are rising and keeping our demands fulfilled I really need to work more hard  now. I can't let go of this contract. "

Amber sighs and smiles back at her mom.
"Okay ! Next time don't forget your breakfast  please." Amber requests with her care filled eyes.

She puts the spaghetti in boil and starts chopping tomatoes for the sauce.

Ava turns on the stove and places the pan on it. Pours oil and drops handful of garlic and chilli into it. 

"Here your tomatoes mother." Amber  puts forward the bowl filled with red juicy tomatoes they grew in the small backyard garden they had.

The sizzle of the pan as the tomatoes go into the pan takes over the sadness and brings smile to both of them as the aroma of the spices mingle in with their happy mood.

Amber turns on the radio and the song goes :

But dreams are elusive
The kind we've gotten used to
Is nothing I can feel
Nothing I can hold, nothing I can have, nothing that I know
Dreams come and they go....

Here's chapter 7 guys ! Ik these chapters are pretty short. Since I ain't getting time. But I will surely make it up for you all and bring to you the best I can.
