Chapter 6 - Amiodarone

Immediately after the group left the hazing hall, a ring on Singto's phone caught everyone's attention. Seeing it was his mother, Singto instantly answered and switched it to loud speaker so Tee could hear as well.
"Sing?" Lucy asked into the phone. Her voice sounded hoarse just like she had only just finished crying scaring the 6 boys who were now listening intently
"Yes Mum. What's the matter? Is there something wrong with Gulf? Is he ok?" Singto asked quickly not giving his mother any opportunities to answer. He took Krist's hand and squeezed tightly waiting for his mother's reply. He was terrified at what she would say. Looking around he could see everyone looked restless and scared.
"Gulf just had another arrhythmia! It wasn't quite as serious as the last one but it still required us to administer the amiodarone as a precaution" Lucy replied and everyone tensed at the answer. Mew felt the familiar pulling on his heart as soon as he heard about Gulf's condition. He really needs to work out what this feeling actually means.
"What! How is he now?" That was Tee who was starting to panic again. It was quite rare for Gulf to need the drug to help his recovery since the serious side effects it gives him for at least a week
"He's okay now but I thought I just call to let you know the situation" Lucy stated before continuing
"We think he's going to wake up in the next few hours so if you have time could you come over. We've just shifted him to our private room." Lucy finished and everyone's face lit up at the thought of Gulf waking up but everyone except Mew's face immediately went into a frown when they realised how Gulf would be feeling for at least the next week. Mew doesn't know the consequences since he had only just met Gulf so he just keeps on smiling at the thought of Gulf being ok ignoring the frowns on everyone's faces around him
"We'll be right there!" Singto stated hurrying towards his car followed by Krist who quickly got into the passenger seat. Tee, Tae and Ming got into Tae's car whilst Mew hurried into his own car and swiftly turned on the engine ready the leave.
In every car the drive to the hospital was silent, everyone carefully considering the situation even Mew who didn't fully understand it.

The group of six burst impatiently through the doors of the hospital immediately rushing to where they know Gulf would be. Mew followed behind Tee who was leading the group towards their families private VIP room where Gulf was currently being watched over by both his parents. Gulf's dad had just arrived back home from an oversees business trip that sadly enough to couldn't be avoided if he didn't want to lose billions of dollars. Obviously he was to return home immediately after hearing about Gulf's condition but his wife had convinced him to finish the deal before returning while reassuring him that everything was okay. He had just arrive back in the country and instantly travelled over to the hospital to see his son. His family has always been his priority and nothing else honestly mattered as much to him as them. Tee and Singto burst through the door to Gulf's room but froze in surprise seeing their dad standing at the foot of Gulf's bed. The remaining 4 people entered the room quietly trying not to make anymore noise to disturb the family especially Mew since he'd never properly met Gulf's dad and was intimidated by the man's aura as soon as he entered.
"How's Gulf?" Tee asked once he regained his composure. Asking the question that's been on everyone's mind for the past 10 minutes.
"He's okay now. We're just waiting for him to wake up now!" Gulf's dad explained before turning to Mew
"Who is this?" Gulf's dad asked gesturing towards Mew. He figured it was the young man who saved Gulf as his wife had explained but he wanted a proper introduction before he expressed his gratitude.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Sir Ruangroj, my name is Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat. I'm a new friend of Gulf's." Mew politely introduced himself without forget to bow at the beginning before talking.
"So your the one who saved my baby Gulf!" Gulf's dad explained
"Yes sir" Mew replied unsure where this conversation was leading. He hadn't even been able to get a good look at Gulf since he walked in as his view was blocked by Gulf's dad.
"Thank you so much. I had no-words to express my gratitude towards you. Thank you" Gulf's dad took Mew's hands into his own.
"Your welcome but I only did what's right. Gulf is important to me as well" Mew explained
"Your Ohm's son correct?"Gulf's dad asked his wife had explained that Gulf's saviour was his old friends son.
"Yes sir" Mew answered politely
"Please call me Dad. I heard from my wife how she asked you to call her Mum after you saved my baby" Gulf's dad stated. The atmosphere inside the room was so awkward and that statement simply made it worse but before someone could comment on it or do something to try to stop, a groan was heard coming from Gulf.
