Hello lovely people. I have more angst for you. I have another two parts for this story and they will be put up soon. I know its not great but please struggle through to get to the fluffy stuff in the next part. I also have a Destiel planned for next week and that is very fluffy. Anyway...
About two months had passed since the Winchesters had left town and Benny was worried. Dean had come to see him during his heat a few months ago and for that Benny felt blessed, not only had the young omega allowed him to help but he had wanted it. They had planned to meet for another date a few days later but Dean had left. Benny didn't blame Dean for leaving, he had heard all about his father's strict regime. So Benny kept his head down and hoped that at some point in the future his Dean would come back to him.
Benny spent the next month or so working at the garage and stopping off at the roadhouse, only because he knew Ellen might have news of his favourite Winchester. It was a Monday, about 8:30 pm when Benny got a text. It was from Dean. Benny felt elated, this meant Dean still cared. But the excitement didn't last long, and it died after Benny read the message a second time.
Benny, call me.
Dean was in trouble and he had asked Benny for his help. Benny almost dropped his phone in an attempt to call Dean.
The phone rang, and rang, and rang. He heard the receiver click and relaxed immensely when he heard Dean on the other end.
"Benny, That you?"
"Yeah, 's me Chief, what's up?"
"Gimme a second." There was a long pause and Benny heard some shuffling, the opening and closing of a door and an 'I'll be back soon Sammy' before Dean spoke again.
"Benny...you remember when I came too see you, that night two months ago?"
"Yeah, chief," Benny answered cautiously. "Where're ya going with this? What d'ya need?"
"There's not really an easy way to say this Benny," the silence that followed was deafening. "I'm pregnant. There's two words I never thought I'd say." Benny was speechless, he was overjoyed and terrified all in the same moment. Here he was going to have a child with the omega of his dreams, the omega who was currently with a really repressive father and no way of escape. See it wasn't Sam that Benny was bothered about, it was John. Benny would happily take Sam in and raise him as his own, but John wouldn't like loosing his sons and he would do everything in his power to get them back. Benny sighed.
"Benny, could ya maybe say somethin', it's getting a little creepy." That was the point that Benny realised he had said one of the above out loud.
"Sorry chief, I thought I was talkin' to ya. Dean what d'ya need? I know ya never liked me saying' so but I love ya, I still do." There was no response. "Dean, Cher, let me help." Dean was silent, when he spoke again it was with a small tremor in his voice.
"Benny, dad found out," there was a sigh from the other end of the phone and Benny held his breath. "He didn't say anything Benny, he just left. I don't know what to do. What if he left Sammy and it's my fault, what if he takes this out on Sam. I scared Benny."
"I know Cher me too. Dean where are you?"
"Salem, West Virginia"
"'Kay Cher, gimmie ten hours."
Benny rushed to the car and within minutes of hanging up he was on the highway. He'd probably broken about 7 traffic laws, but Dean needed him and like hell was he gonna fall short.
It started getting dark just when he reached the interstate and Benny could feel his hands cramping from where they were gripped on to the steering wheel.
Dean
John Winchester came home in a fit of rage and booze at about 3 am. He stumbled into the motel room kitchenette and dragged Dean away from the saucepan of soup on the stove. Dean could see Sam getting up to protest the treatment of him but he shook his head, Sam didn't need their dad's anger focused on him tonight. Dean gave Sammy a weak smile as he was dragged out the door.
"Dad what's going-"
"Shut up and get in the car." John growled at his eldest. Dean whimpered with fear and got in the car, not at all blind to the shotgun his father had taken out of the glove compartment. Baby's engine roared and John drove. The car was going all over the road, but nobody pulled them over and John didn't stop.
Benny
it was about 3am and benny had been calling dean all through the night. The texts dean had sent with his location were the only response. Benny had tried their motel but no one was around. He wasn't far away now and benny just hoed that his dean was okay.
Dean
John kept driving all through the remainder of the night and the early hours of the morning. It was 6 am and Dean was worried about Sammy. The kid was studying for his exams that started today and so dean had made his some late night soup to keep his energy levels up. Sam had waved off the action in the teenage way that he always did but dean knew he appreciated it and that was enough. Dean was worried that the drama last night would stress Sam out and he wouldn't concentrate on his exams. Dean was also scared for himself. John was a mess, he had been ever since their mother had left him after he cheated on her. Now he couldn't put down the bottle. Dean knew what his dad was capable of when he was sober (he was an ex marine for gods sake). The drink just mad him worse. He just hoped that this wasn't what John had in mind.
Benny
Benny was pulling into the motel parking lot at about 6 am when he got a phone call.
"Hello?"
"Hello. I'm Sam Winchester. My brother said that I should call you."
Benny hung up almost as quickly as he had picked up; leapt out of the car and ran to the motel room listed in Dean's texts. A boy he assumed to be Sam Winchester opened the door before he could knock.
"You benny?" The boy asked frantically.
"Yup that's me," benny answered slightly startled by the whole interaction.
"You gotta help me. Dad took Dean."
Dean
after what felt like years, John finally pulled over into a parking lot. He stopped the car and dragged Dean inside a tall building.
The building itself was white concrete. It looked like a block of flats that had no balconies and small high windows. The lady at the front desk was creepily smiley for this time in the morning and took down John's details. When that was done three men in white overcoats dragged dean up a hall way and into an uncomfortably sterile room.
Dean blanked out the rest.
He came to his senses in a locked room with four white walls, an iron door and one high window. Looking around Dean saw a small table, only just big enough for one; a sink, also white; a small stool and the metal bed he was sitting on.
"Well," Dean said into the silence. "This is where I go crazy."
See you tomorrow guys.
