Taehyung stepped into the dance center and headed toward the practice room his brother usually worked in, peering in the small window. He had ten minutes before he had to be in class, and luckily it was only in the second floor studio. They were going to be practicing taking some action stills and using the dance class was one way the professor could be on hand while they took pictures of a controlled subject. Not to mention, the professors would all get a copy of the pictures, and they could use them in promotionals for the department. It was bragging rights if your photo was selected for the department flyers that went out to the local high schools, and it always looked good on a resume.

His brother always used the same practice room, so it wasn't hard to find. He could hear the music and see his brother's bag in the corner, but could not see Jimin in the room. Must have stepped out for a bathroom break. Well, I have to get to class or I will be late. I will just leave it for him.

Taehyung stepped into the room, the music drowning with its rhythm blasting through the speakers. He couldn't place the piece right off hand, but the voice sounded familiar. He finally spotted his brother sitting against the wall with his knees drawn to chest, arms wrapped around with his eyes closed, as though he were soaking up the music like a sponge.

"Min?" Taehyung didn't know how he heard him over the music, but his brother lifted his head. Damn, JK was right. He did look awful.

"Tae? What are you doing here?" Jimin mouthed the words instead of vocalizing.

Tae frowned and glanced around to find the music source. He saw Jimin point at the music system across the room and Taehyung turned it off, the silence filling the space and echoing in his ears.

"What song is that? I think I have heard it before."

"It's by one of the master students in the music department. I heard it by accident, and asked if I could dance to it. He was fine with it, because he will be helping at the showcase, and it is a way to show off his songwriting, singing and rapping skills. What are you doing here?"

"I am on my way to class. We are taking pictures of the ballet class today. Oh, JK asked me to give you this." He held out the bottle of water, and Jimin stared at it surprised before reaching up to take it. "Why are you balled up in the corner?"

Jimin toyed with the bottle before setting it on the floor next to him. "Just taking a break."

"Hmm," Taehyung frowned, "You look like you have overpracticed. You look like hell."

"I love you too, little brother." Jimin rolled his eyes, and buried his face into his arms, tightening his hold on his legs. He and Taehyung were not that far apart in age, and in truth were only half-brothers, as their father had an indiscretion in his youth. At first, they were both annoyed, but over time, they had grown to be the best of friends. Most usually got the misconception that they were lovers with the way they interacted until they found out they were related and just extremely comfortable with one another.

"Min, if you are tired, go home. Sleep. Seriously, you look like shit. For god's sake, eat something. You are thinner than a rake. You can afford to skip practice for a few hours. If you wear yourself out, they won't let you dance the showcase. You know that."

Jimin's response was muffled by his arms, "I know. I will. You are going to be late for class."

Taehyung checked his watch and cursed quietly as he turned to go, "And call JK. I will message you his number. He was worried about you when you showed up in the cafeteria and didn't eat. No one showed up from our usual group today as a matter of fact; it was just us. You better show up tomorrow and eat something. Don't make me report you myself."
