Chapter 14

Nandito kami ngayon ni Ash sa isang Korean restaurant para mag lunch. Hindi mawala amin ang ngiti ng tagumpay ngayon. Ash just talk non sense things like he always do.

“Gusto mo ba yun?” tanong niya sa akin kahit puno ang bibig niya.

“Hindi ka ata aware na crush ko yun e” sabi ko naman.

“Sinong crush mo?” a familiar voice.

Inangat namin ni Ash ang paningin naming sa lalaking nasa likod ko. Fuck! Nasamid ako sa ininom ko nang makita ko si Drew.

“Hey” I said smiling nervously.

“Pre, wassup?”

“Who’s your crush?” he ask out of curiosity.

Ano ba yan! Bakit sumulpot pa ito.

“Ah.. we’re taking about cash! He will borrow to me some cash” palusot ko at nakitang tumaas ang kilay ni Ash.

“You should ask me Ash not Phoeb” he’s talking to Ash.

“Yeah I’ve change my mind hindi na ako manghihiram may pera pa pala ako” Ash said glaring at me while smiling.

“I’m sorry napadaan lang ako dito to buy my mom a lunch, then I see you too so what’s with you?” he ask us.

“Nakapasa kasi kami sa practical naming so we celebrate, top 2 si Ash tapos ako is top 1” I share letting out a small laugh.

“Proud na proud talaga” Ash said at inismiran ako.

“Well, congrats sa inyo” Drew laugh.

“Anyway, I’ll see you mamaya Phoeb” he said before giving me a beso.

“What? Okay?” I said.

“Ingatan mo to” Drew said to Ash .

“Gago ako ata mag-ingat jan” sabi ni Ash.

Nang umalis na si Drew, napatingin si Ash sa akin na parang may na sense sa aming dalawa.

“Close kayo?” he ask.

“Maybe he likes me” I said.

“Mangarap ka” he said laughing kaya hinampas ko siya.

Kung alam lang ng unggoy na to e gago talaga. Actually I met Ash during 4th year at possible naman na magkaclose kami agad.

Nang matapos kami kumain, nag text ako sa driver ko na hindi na muna ako magpapasundo kasi magpapahatid nalang ako kay Ash. It’s 4 pm pa naman ng makarating ako sa condo ko.

I take shower muna ako at nagbihis ng pambahay. I just wear a plain black shirt ang sweatshorts, I look like a boy. Kumuha ako ng rootbeer at ininom yung habang nanoon ng movie sa Netflix.

Nagising ako sa tunog door bell so nakatulog ako? It’s 6 pm na. I sneek in the peep hole and I saw Railey so I open it immediately. I was shock when I saw Drew at her back.

“Hey guys, come in” I welcome them with a hug but Drew kiss me on the cheek.

“Are you alone here?” Drew ask looking around.

“Yes, but I’m not lonely” I give him a smile.

We sit in the floor at may nilagay si Railey na plastic na may laman.

“Are you a boy?” Railey ask me based on my cloth.

“Yes, don’t care” I smirk.

“Anyway let’s drink” Railey said as he put the bottles of beer.

Kumuha na rin ako ng baso but pagbalik ko, Railey raise his phone may sasagutin daw na tawag. I just nod before she go to the bedroom.

“So you already transfer?” I ask Drew while pouring him a beer.

“I’ll wait for the next sem” He said.

I just nod “That’s good”.

Kaunting katahimikan ang bumalot but I feel that he is staring at me. So I look at him smiling so shy.

“Stop staring” I laugh.

“I just miss you” he said at dahan dahan lumapit ang mukha niya na ikinagulat ko.

He just stop when we heard the bedroom door opens. Lumabas si Railey and looking at us like something happens when she’s not around.

“Guys, I gotta do dad called me” She look at me and turn to Drew.

“Uuwi na kayo?” I ask kasi hindi pwedeng iwan niya kami ni Drew dito.

“You’re staying Drew” he look at Drew and smile to me?

Hell no.

Magsasalita pa sana ako pero huli na ng umalis na siya. I look at Drew and smile to him.

“What are you’re thoughts for us Phoeb?” he ask before drinking.

Nagulat ako sa tanong niya kasi wala pa akong sagot doon. I don’t know how can I answer him without hurting. I can’t say that my love come back for Drew it disappear year ago.

“Can you wait a little more? I can’t… you know” I said at yumuko.

“It’s fine Phoebe hindi naman ako mawawala e” He said smiling at me.

Who’s girl naman ang dedeny sa lalaking ito, Drew is too kind and I already understand his reason why he left. I can’t just give back my love for him ulit.

We drink until I get drunk, Drew is not that drunk. We just keep on laughing and remembering things for a past few years.

“You’re my first kiss” I said very drunk.

“Me too” he said too smiling at me.

“I know you like me still Phoebe so give me a chance please” he holds my hand.

“I can’t answer you right now Drew, things change” I let him understand what I feel.

There’s something that is filling in my heart right now, I don’t know nakakalito parin. If there’s no one stopping my feeling right now maybe I can go back at drew easily.

Lumapatid siya sa akin holding my face with his one hand and the other one is in my neck. Dahan dahan niyang nilapit ang mukha niya sa mukha ko and act to kiss me but he stop. Sabay sabay kaming napatingin sa door kaya ako na ang tumayo at binuksan yun.

Ang lakas ng tibok ng puso ko when I saw Cole.

I saw him looking at my back and his brow immediately mad. I even saw his jaw moving along with his hands na nakakuyom.

“What’s this?” he ask me getting mad now.
