Ron was surprised when he went back for them, seeing them cuddle and kiss when they thought he wasn't looking.

But he was happy for them, it makes them stronger.

Epilogue

After the war, they did survive.

It was not easy for Ginny to see Harry and Hermione together. She hoped that when the war was over, she and Harry will get back together. But she accepted it, they were her friends after all.

Harry and Hermione got married a few months after the war. Ron of course was the best man. Ginny accepted Hermione's wish to be her maid of honor.

Hermione returned to Hogwarts with Ginny to finish her NEWTs. While Harry and Ron trained as Aurors.

Ginny dated Dean Thomas again while at Hogwarts. Dean asked her to marry him after graduation and she accepted.

Ron dated many girls during his Auror training but ended with Lavender Brown again.

Harry and Hermione had their first baby a year after Hermione graduated from school. They were blessed with three children, James, Lily, and Sirius.

Harry and Ron continued to become Aurors while Hermione became a Healer at St. Mungo's. Ginny became a chaser for the Holy Head Harpies after Hogwarts then a writer for the Daily Prophet when she had her first child with Dean.
