I woke up to bright lights I looked around to see I was on a hospital bed.
"You ok baby?"
Ma ask she was sitting next to my bed, I look across from me to see Nick.
"Nick"
I rasp out my throat burnt my mom handed me a glass of water, She sit me up and I drink it coughing a little.
"What happened?"
"Nick's dad went insane I think the lost of his mate has set in now he attack Nick then you"
"Is Nick ok?"
"Yeah he broke a couple of his ribs and stabbed him in his side so he loss some blood but he'll be ok"
I look over at him and sniffled.
"I knew something was off and i- i should of help him earlier it-"
"Shh you did help baby if you hadn't came by he would of bleed out on that floor"
"Ma"
I cried into her chest.
"His father got away after hitting you in the head you've been unconscious for 2 days"
"What?!"
"Yeah your mate came over the house to visit you"
"He did where is he".
"He's coming by after school apparently he had a feeling something was wrong with you".
"I hope he didn't feel my pain"
I laid back in bed I look at Nick who was breathing steadily. I should of known I'm his best friend I should of been there for him I cried a little after mom left.
"Hey"
I look up to see my mate along with Jason his eyes looked like he hadn't slept.
"Jon we heard what happened how are you feeling?"
"I'm good"
Goliath's hand brush my cheeks and I lean into him.
He sigh sitting in the chair he look down at me as I held his hand to my cheek.
"I was so worried I don't know why but I felt something was wrong".
"I'm ok I'll be out today".
I kiss his palm to calm him down I knew the bond must be acting up.
"How's your friend?"
He look over at Nick.
"They said he'll be fine he's healing".
The pack nurse and doctor came in and ask them to leave she checked me up and gave me permission to leave.
"I think you should go stay at your mates house".
Ma suggested as she look over at my tired looking mate.
"Ok".
I went into the bathroom and put on the clothes Ma had given me she kiss my cheek.
"Call me if anything here is your phone".
"Let's go over your house"
I suggested goliath nod we went down in the elevator and drove over to Goliath's house.
"Oh sweetie I heard you were in the hospital are you ok!?"
His mom greet me.
"I'm fine"
I smiled she squeeze me into a hug.
"I'll leave you two alone".
Goliath took my hand and lead me to his room.
He laid on the bed and pat the spot next to him.
"I don't think I'll be able to sleep if I don't hold you"
I slipped into bed next to him He pulled me into his chest.
"I need to know am I your Mate?".
