Within the horrid mechanized city of the Fright Zone, There Adora was, suiting up for her day of training. She strapped her armor on with her toothbrush in her mouth. Once she was done, she delivered multiple punches to the punching bag hanging beside her. She stopped to brush her teeth. She then give a powerful kick to the punching bag, swinging it away.
She spat into the sink and looked over herself in the mirror. She had a stern look as she saluted herself. She then smiled and shot two finger guns at the mirror.
Adora: Pew Pew!
She started to walk away, practicing her punches. She stopped and glared over her shoulder at the punching bag
Adora: Hey Princess.
On the bag was a picture of a princess with a malevolent look, towering over cowering Horde soldiers.
Adora: You lookin' at me?
With that, she swung a powerful kick to the picture, causing it to swing in place. The PA system beeped gaining Adora's attention.
Woman over PA: All squadrons report to training area immediately for evaluation!
With a smile Adora rushed to the training area. There she stood in line along with Rogelio, Lonnie, and Kyle. She looked around and then whispered to the group.
Adora: Psst! Has anyone seen Catra?
The group merely shrugged and shook their heads in response.
Adora: Huh, not again.
Force Captain: At attention cadets!
The Force Captain commanded as he walked in front of them with a PDA in his hands.
Force Captain: Your simulation is about to begin. Here's your scenario.
He pressed a button on the PDA's touch screen and a hologram of a terrifying forest appeared.
Force Captain: You'll be passing through the treacherous Whispering Woods to reach the heart of the rebel insurgency, Bright Moon.
The hologram changed to show a nightmarish kingdom apparently known as Bright Moon. Kyle tensed up with fear while Adora stood still with determination in her eyes. The hologram changed once more to show the malevolent princess from the picture on the punching bag.
Force Captain: Your mission is to defeat the queen of the princesses and liberate Bright Moon in Lord Hordak's name.
The Force Captain looked at the line of cadets and noticed two were missing.
Force Captain: Where's Catra and Y/n?
Adora: Catra will be here, I promise. Y/n... eh, maybe?
Force Captain: Mmm hm.
The captain turned off the hologram and stood proud with his arms behind his back.
Force Captain: The Whispering Woods is full of princesses. Vicious, violent instigators. They will take you out given the chance.
The massive metal door to the training room opened to reveal long thin spires jutting out of the floor that in leaned perpendicular formations, somewhat resembling a forest.
Force Captain: Don't give it to them. Good luck recruits.
The four of them walked into the room activating their simulation goggles. Adora looked up and saw a robot with a hologram of an evil looking princess over it. The "Princess" fired a laser at the group.
Adora: Watch out!
They narrowly dodged the blast as it whizzed by them. Two more princesses appeared and fired upon them. The team of recruits scattered into the woods, bobbing and weaving through trees and jumping over the some of the princesses. Adora stood her ground and lobbed a grenade at one of the princesses perched high in the tree. The grenade stuck to its target and detonated, taking out the princess.
