It was a quiet, peaceful night in the Vargas residence. The owner of the house, Luciano Vargas, also known as Northern Italy was working on some last minute paperwork that needed to be done before the next EU meeting which was next week, sipping his coffee trying to keep himself awake. It also didn't help the fact that he and his brother were the one's hosting the meeting. He didn't even know where his brother was. For all he knew he was probably in Spain with Andres, while leaving him to finish the paperwork. Some older brother he was.

On the other side of the house, a young preteen girl with long, wavy dark brown hair and amber eyes was searching Luciano's room looking for something. The girl's name was Giovanna Fernandez, the personification of Andorra and younger sister to both Afonso and Andres.

"Where is it?" The girl muttered quietly to herself, as she searched through a jewelry box. She had to find the necklace Andres sent her to retrieve and bring back to him, for reasons she did not know. He wouldn't tell her why, he just said that she had to bring it to him. She had to prove she was good for at least something and not a constant disappointment. But it was hard to search for anything in the dark room when she only had a flashlight on her phone. It also didn't help that the owner of the house was only a couple doors down from where she was.

The lights turned on causing Giovanna to freeze. She slowly turned around to see a man wearing a tan military uniform and had short auburn hair with a curl sticking out.. The man was the one and only Luciano Vargas standing in the doorway with a cynical look on his face.

"Looking for-a this, ragazza." Luciano smirked, lifting up a necklace. The necklace was a beautiful dark blue sapphire attached to a golden chain. The necklace was the exact description of the one Andres gave her.

"Now would you-a be so-a kind to tell me-a why the personification of-a Andorra is-a in my-a house at-a one in the morning-a?" He asked as he shoved the necklace inside the pocket of his military uniform. "And-a stealing from-a me no less-a."

"Why should I tell you anything?" Giovanna spat, trying to act brave. Luciano's smirk fell into a scowl.

"I'm too-a tired to-a deal with this-a." Luciano grumbled , grabbing the girls wrist, dragging her through the hallway. The girl tried to break free out of Luciano's grip, but he was just too strong. He brought her to what looked like a regular guest bedroom, except for the fact that there were chains attached to a tall pole beside the bed. Luciano chained the girl's leg so she couldn't sneak away during the night.

He looked the girl in the eyes, his magenta eyes piercing into her soul. "Don't even-a try to-a escape. I will-a deal with-a you in the morning-a."

The girl nodded her head slowly, deciding not to say anything in fear of angering the man. After her leg was chained nice and tight, Luciano walked out of the room without sparing the girl a second glance. Leaving her all alone in the dark room. Knowing that any attempts to break the chain would be pointless, Andorra crawled into the bed. In less than five minutes the girl was asleep.
