"Welcome back for another year and meet our new Defence aganist the dark arts teacher, Professor Umbridge."
Before Dumbledore could say another word the woman rose from her seat and walked to the front and started talking. I drowned her out finding her annoying the worst part was the fact I new she hated muggle-borns and I certainly didn't have time for that.
I went to hufflepuff and unwaraped my left arm and glared at the dark mark formed on it, I knew this came with being a double agent but did it have to hurt so much. I rewrapped it and sighed remembering the torture of the crucio curse and Voldemort invading my mind.
It was a terrible experience and certainly not one I wanted to do over, I quietly pushed the thoughts aside and went on to study the 5th year work to catch up on for another year that was far behind my knowledge level.

I entered Defence Aganist the Dark Arts to find Umbridge already talking about how the class would be no magic. I for one thought she was out of her mind as did Harry who interjected and got himself detention though he was always in trouble anyway.Umbridge went on and on, she was going off on a rant and it was so annoying. She was worse then a flitwick lecture combined with Snapes monotone. Of course I didn't mean for it to come out but it did.
"Would you shut up already, no one cares." I state then smack my head at the fact I said it out loud and she walks over to me.
"Excuse me? Who do you think you are." She says being clearly a bit bitchy in her tone.
"Ember Lovet in case you couldn't have figured that out." Well I was normally a nice quiet hufflepuff but not today, things just kept coming out.
I watched her glare heavily, "Well you may be loved by every teacher but certainly not me you can join Mr. Potter in detention."
There was a lot of ooohs that circulated the room and I snorted, "Are you sure you want to do that?" I said grinning.
"There's nothing you can do about it." She challenged me and that's what was her mistake and I promptly got up and walked out the door, much to her astonishment as well as a few others as I walked up to Dumbledores office.
"Albus!" I shout a bit and he jumps looking at me.
"Yes Ember? Shouldn't you be in class." He says as more of a statement and looks at me.
"I refuse to sit in a classroom with Umbridge ever again." I state and sit in the chair across his desk. "Just like let Snape do it already." I groan for I could handle Snape he was my favorite teacher after all, the art of potions was something only I understood as well as be did.
"Ember I know you wouldn't like her but there's nothing I can do about it."
I couldn't believe I was doing this but for the first time I Ember Lovet was going to do something I was heavily against, "Them I'm skipping every DADA class there is." He looks at me for a long time and then sighs.
"I'll change it so you can have private lessons with Snape I suppose that will suffice you?" I grin and nod and turn to leave the room clearly satisfied.
"Thank you Albus." I say as I leave out the door.

I turned to my animangus a cat and followed Umbridge to her office that night and waited till she went inside then I started meowing like I was in pain. The best way to fool Umbridge is to be her favorite thing a little helpless kitten.
She opened the door and looked down at me and smiled, "Oh a little Kitten." She picked me up and carried me inside her office and set me down. She went off to find cat food and I morphed to human and searched her office top to bottom.
