Gulf POV
I'm now standing at the rented house Klawut has rented for a year.
That brat really! Can't he just rent a bloody studio apartment? Why is he renting a room in a house with some strangers?
I then dragged myself into the house.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
"Oho! Look whose here! My new favorite renter who has paid 1-year rent in advance!" a weird-looking middle-aged woman greeted me.
"Sawade Khrup, Khun Baa," I greeted her.
"It's Phi, Na?" she emphasizes it.
"Sawade Khrup, Khun Phi," I greeted her again awkwardly.
She's the same age as my Mae for fuck sake!
"Oho, I've never meet a guy as pretty as you!" she compliments with a creepy smile on her face.
"Tee Ruk, I've prepared your scrub," suddenly a middle-aged man came.
Seems like he's her husband...
"You! Can't you see I was talking to such a lovely guy? Go back! Go back and find something to do at the back," her voice changed immediately.
That brat! Why are you renting such a weird place?!
Then she looked back at me, all smiley again.
"Come, I'll bring you to your room, Na?" she then grabs my hand.
"Oho, guys nowadays have smooth hands aren't they?" she said with that weird smile on her face.
And I can only smile awkwardly as I pulled back my hand and hide them into my pocket, saving them from her.
"Do you need help with your bags?" she asked.
"Not really. I can..."
"P'Tle! P'Tle!" she shouts.
And her husband came back to us, running as if his life depends on it.
"Yes, Tee Ruk?" he asked.
"Take his bag to his room!" she ordered him.
This rented house is indeed weird as fuck!
As we walked into the house, she briefs the rules.
"1. This rented house is strictly for guys. You are not allowed to bring any woman inside. Be it your Mae, your sister, your best friend or your girlfriend. Well, unless it's me..." again, with her weird smile.
Aren't you a woman, Khun Baa?
I complained inside my head.
"2. You have to manage your own stuff, be it your laundry, cleaning or cooking.
3. No loud music.
4. Don't fight with each other. Especially your roommate!
Is that clear, Khun Klawut?" she asked as she stops in front of a door and handed me a key.
"Crystal clear," I gave a short answer and took the key from her.
I then unlocked the door and get into the room.
Well, seems like I'm lucky enough that my roommate is not a jerk. The room is clean, the facilities were good enough...
Then I started to unpack.

Mew POV
After we grab some groceries, we are now on our back to our rented house. As I was driving, I can't help but think about that Klawut kid. But then I was distracted by a munching sound.
"Don't you dare let the crumbs stained my car!" I warned him.
"Do you think I'm a kid, Ai'Mew?" Tum replied as he shoved the chips into his mouth.
"You know, that Klawut kid was fucking good. I don't get it why there are rumors saying he can't play," I commented based on what I saw back in the class.
"Maybe cause he never play? He's been into my class a few times. But he never showed any interest at all. Play? Dream on. He never does," Tum commented.
"But if I'm not mistaken, there's also rumors saying that he plays for a band in a pub as a drummer,"
"You and your so-called rumors!" I brush him off.
"Hey, don't underestimate my connections!" he complained.
I then parked my car and locked it before we walked into the rented house.
Thank God the weird owner is not around...
I then put my key into the keyhole, only to find it unlocked.
That's weird. I always make sure I locked the door...
But then my eye lands on the empty bed inside the room and find the mattress is now covered with a bedsheet and I heard the shower running.
So, I have a roommate now...
I walked to my study table and put the stuff I have brought and my laptop bag on the table. Then someone walks out from the bathroom.
"Oh, Sawade Khrup," he greeted me politely.
But as he removes his towel on his head, my world stops.
"Klawut?"
"Oh? Sir Suppasit?" he looked as shock as I am.
"Ai'Mew, my roommate is fucking jerking himself off in the bathroom and he just can't turn down his fucking voice," Tum walks into my room and he stunned at the door.
"Klawut? Are you, Mew's new roommate?" Tum asked the question that stuck on my throat.
"Haha, I think so," he answered awkwardly.
"Have you done unpacking?" I asked, showing my concern as I didn't see much of his stuff.
"Yeah. I didn't bring that much stuff with me cause I thought..."
But he stopped talking immediately.
"You thought what?" I asked.
"Cause I'm too lazy to unpack, hahaha," he laughed awkwardly.
"By the way, since we are now roommate, you can just call me 'Mew' when we are not in college," I welcomed him despite the weird situation we are in.
But well, I'm just a part-time lecturer.
So it wasn't really weird, isn't it?
"And you can call me 'Tum'," Tum follow suit.
"And how are you going to college? This house is rather far from our university," I asked him as I didn't saw any new car or motorcycle in front of the house.
"My friend gave me a lift," he gave a short answer.
"Oh? I never knew you are close to someone. Given I always saw you on your own in campus," Tum asked, being his usual busy body guy.
"H...he's actually my older brother's childhood friend," again, he came out with a weird answer.
"Oh? And where's your older brother? Why didn't you live with him instead?" Tum asked as he stole a can of Sprite from my mini-fridge.
"He's in UK with my dad. I lived here with my Mae and grandpa after their divorce,"
"Aw, then why are you renting now?" Tum asked for more details.
"Just, trying my luck," he gave an awkward answer.
"Well, wanna have dinner together later?" I invited him.
"I don't think I could. I've made a promise with my older brother's friends," he explained as he scratches his ears.
I guess it's his habit...
