Gulf POV
I was wandering around at the shop lots. Most of the shops are ready for their closing since it is already late.
The audition is tomorrow...
Should I go?
I really, really love music...
But the fact that I'm here as Klawut,
What will happen to him once he's back?
He can't do what I did...
Then my eye lands on a white piano displayed in a music shop.
This piano reminds me at the piano inside our mall in UK. The one I will sneakily play during the night. The owner even handed me the keys for his shop.
"Wanna try it?" Suddenly a middle-aged man asked me.
"Oh? Aren't you closing the shop?" I asked him.
"Nah, It's my shop anyway. And I lived on the second floor. Come in!" he invited me.
Hesitantly, I walked into his shop and walked towards the piano.
"Just play it. I can't really play anymore since my hand tremor is getting worse," he tapped my shoulder.
"Kob Khun Khrup, Khun Lung," I thanked him.
"Just call me 'Tom Lung'," he said as he walked away.
I then took a seat on the piano seat. I then put my hands on the piano key.
Should I go for the audition?
Taking a deep breath, I started playing.
"Is there something bothering you, Luk?" he asked me as he put down a chair beside the piano.
"Well, sort off," I gave a short answer.
"You can share with me. Sometimes talking to a stranger who knows nothing about you could give you a wider point of view, you know?" he said with a heartwarming smile on his face.
"Well, there's an audition tomorrow. But I'm not sure should I took part of it or not," I started to spill.
"Why not? Judging by your skill just now, you're good," he compliments.
"You see, I was not actually who they thought I am. I...kind filled in for someone whose not here at the moment," I scratch my ears.
"So what? This talent is yours, not his, isn't it?" he gave his opinion.
"What if he came back later on?" I raised my biggest concern.
"Sometimes, you just have to live in that moment or you will regret it for the rest of your life for not trying at all," he tapped my shoulder and walk away.
Then I put my hand back on the piano key and start playing again.
"I think someone,
Is praying for someone,
I think I can softly hear,
A love poem that was silently written,
It clearly flies over to you,
I hope it reaches you before it's too late"Without I realize, I started to sing the song I was playing on the piano.
"I'll be there, behind you when you walk alone,
Singing till the end, this song that won't end,
Open your ears for just a moment,
I'll sing for you, who is walking through an especially long night"
