"Have you got everything Brad asked for??" Justin whispers into my ear so my parents don't hear as we are now on our way to Ashley's in the car.
I grab the bag from the floor and I open it so Justin can see. His eyes light up when all the contents are in the bag.
"What are you too up to?" My mum asks chuckling, looking through the view finder.
"Nothing" I say with a smirk looking at Justin who has the same expression on his face as i close the zip on the bag lowering it back to the ground.
At The Jacob's House
Ashley comes to the door with brad letting us in, engulfing both, my mum and dad, into a hug.
" Lexi and James meet Brad" Ashley says a smile on her face that could not get any wider if she tried.
As she introduced Brad to my parents, they were in a deep conversation mainly talking about Ashley and Brad's relationship and how happy my mum and dad are for her.
I take Justin's hand and we head out to the garden where I spot Ashley's parents and brad's family I'm guessing.
"Rachel my darling" Lily, Ashley's mum says rushing over engulfing me in a massive hug as I let go of Justin's hand as he stands there awkwardly.
"I can't breath" I say laughing making her chuckle too. Then Mathew, Ashley's dad brings me into a hug too.
"Now who is this handsome young man??" Ashley's mum asks with a wide smile on her face.
"This is Justin, my boyfriend" I say, making me smile.
I would never have thought a year ago, myself and Ashley would end up with boyfriends.
"I have heard what a great friend you are to our Ash and she has told us how amazingly you treat rach. So it's lovely to meet you" lily says, bringing Justin into a hug.
"Rachel, what's up with the bagpack??" Mathew asks while laughing.
"She insists she has to wear it" My mum says shrugging.
"More secrets" my dad says, making us all laugh. Brad introduces me and Justin to his family who are also extremely nice.
Myself and Justin turn around and we see brad looking at us nervously. We both give him massive thumbs up which puts a smile on his face, indicating we have everything he asked for.
Ashley rushes over to brad and takes him over to her parents and mine and brad's as they begin another conversation. Myself and Justin are standing not too far away from them. I look up at Justin who has gone a little pale.
"You okay?" I ask putting my chin on his shoulder.
"I just feel a bit out of place. I'm not good at all this" Justin says, worry in his voice.
"Hey stop putting yourself down. Your doing amazing and everyone really likes you" I whisper looking at up at him as he lets out a wee smile.
" I think it's just a lot. Meeting all these new people in one day" Justin says looking down at me.
I wrap my arms around his waist and he intertwines our fingers together. I nod agreeing. I completely understand especially if he isn't used to meeting many people.
" I can't wait for Brad to ask Ashley" Justin adds with a smile. I nod.
"Me too" I say. We talk for a wee while like we are in our own wee bubble. Until it's broken by the sound of Ashley's mothers voice.
"Lovebirds come and join us" Ashley's mum says giggling as they are all sitting around the table ready to eat.
I take Justin's hand and we both walk over to the table. Justin sitting across from me as I sit next to Ashley.
"Happy thanksgiving!!" brad's mum says making us all smile as we all raise our glasses clinking them all together. I look at Justin as he looks at me with his beautiful smile on his face.
"Let the feast begin!" Ashley's dad says and we all start filling our plates.
After we have all eaten we are all sitting inside watching our annual movie marathon. Ashley wrapped in Brad's arms, me wrapped in Justin's and the backpack still at my feet.
I see brad turn around and he looks at us mouthing now. I nudge Justin and I show him where to look and he nods.
We see brad say something to Ashley and she nods as he removes his arms from her and stands up and sneaks outside the door where nobody will see.
"Mission time" Justin whispers in my ear, making me smile.
"I need a drink" I whisper to my mum, she nods as her eyes are on the movie. I stand up and look at Justin. I pick up the backpack and I head for the door brad went out of.
A few seconds later, Justin appears through the door.
"That was close" Justin whispers, just in case anyone hears.
"We need to be quick before they realise we are missing from watching the movie" brad says, in a panic.
I open the bag which is filled with candles, fairy lights. Brad reached to the wall he hid his guitar behind.
Me and Justin start lighting the candles, scattering them around the garden while Brad started hanging fairy lights around the furniture.
He also wanted me to get photos of Ashley and him printed which I did, so he hung them up with the fairy lights.
Once we have done everything, we look at our work.
"It's absolutely perfect" brad says with a sigh of relief. I put my hand on his shoulder.
"She is going to love it" I whisper as I look at the beautiful garden that we had created.
We hear the door open and Ashley, her parents, my parents and brad's come walking out with confused faces.
"What the h-" Ashley says. Her face was pricelsss as she looks so confused. I grab the rucksack, then me and Justin walk over to where my parents are.
They look at us with what you playing at on there faces.
As Ashley slowly walked over to Brad, admiring the lights, the photos, everything.
Brad takes her hand and sit her on the chair. With a rose on it. He takes it and gives it to her, which she smiles, looking at him with confused written all over her face.
I put my head on Justin's shoulder, he wraps his arms around me as we watch our two best friends showing how much they care for one another.
