As we were armed with mini guns and bigger ones, I was sweating with fear. Both Kevin and I were in the back seat, trying to crouch down so that nobody from the other cars can see us. I was grabbing the gun with my shakey hands, I was scared to death. I saw one man from one of the black cars that was at our left, poke his head out of the window, and aimed at me. Why? I was on the left side of the truck. "Hang in there you guys! We are taking a detour!", yells Jackilen. The man to our left started to shoot at the window that I was underneath. Some of the glass fell on top of my head. Kevin quickly got up a bit and started to aim at the guy, meanwhile Jackilen was driving like she was drunk again on the road. She was going on random streets, and nearly crashing into people. Not to mention she got in people's way. No matter how crazy Jackilen was driving, the cars went after us. The man kept shooting and so did Kevin. All of a sudden, Kevin's gun stopped shooting. "Dammit! I ran out of bullets! I have to reload! Kendra, take my place!", he yells at me. My heart suddenly dropped. "But, I can't! I'm too scared to do this!", I yelled back at him. "Don't be afraid Kendra! I'm right here! Don't stop for nothing! Just shoot until you kill them! GO!", yells Kevin. I got up a bit, and aimed. I took a deep breath, and fired. It went through the window of the car. The man came out and aimed at me. I ducked quickly, and he started to shoot again. Jackilen took a right on the road, and since I didn't have a seat belt on, I fell on top of Kevin while he was reloading his gun. "What are you doing?! Get back up!", he yells in my face. I sat back up. I was still scared, but this time, I had just a bit more confidence in myself. I whispered to myself,"Jason, this is for you!". I started to aim and fire at the man again. This time, I got him! I shot his arm, and he fell back into the car. The car lost a bit of control, and went into a zig zag motion, but only for like ten seconds. But then, another man came out of the window, and started to shoot. Oh, great! So I just killed a man, and it's like another one just reappeared. "Shit! Another one!", yells Kevin. I reloaded my gun, and tried to shoot the window where the drivers seat was to try and kill the driver. But then Jackilen took a turn to the left, and the cars went in another direction. "Phew!", said Kevin. We lost all of them! But then something tragic happened, Jackilens truck was running out of gas quickly, and she had two flat tires now. "Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! This can't be! My truck! Don't give up on me girl!", says Jackilen while trying to make it run again. The truck suddenly came to a halt, and we all got off the truck. We all sighed. "So what do we do now?", asks Kevin. Once again, we were in the middle of an alley in the city of YertBurg. "Well we can't pay for both new tires and gas for the truck.", I tell Jackilen. She sighs heavily. "Well for gas, yes! For the tires, no!", says Jackilen. We had about two hundred dollars on us for the trip, but we weren't completely ready for it. Jackilen looked at both of us from head to toe. "We're you guys injured in that shooting?", asks Jackilen. We both shook our heads. The only thing that was injured, was my life. I have never experienced that before, ever! But why did they come at us like that? Who was that? And what did they want from us? We all stood there in silence for about a minute, and Jackilen spoke up. "Grab your bags and your guns. We're going walking.", she says. "What?!", me and Kevin both asked. "What if we get tired?", I asked her. She rolled her eyes at me. "Yertburg is right next to Bangiler. We are right next to it! So let's just go walking, and if we get tired, we can rest a bit!", says Jackilen. "Alright! Well go walking!", says Kevin. We grabbed our backpacks, stuffed the guns in them, and started to walk. I've been to the city of Yertburg a couple of times, So I kind of recognized the place a bit. We walked three miles across town, while I got hungrier seeing all the outdoor foodstands, and restaurants. We reached a train station, and we're waiting for a train to get to Bangiler faster. While we were waiting in line for the next train, I saw a bunch of kids with their parents and siblings. That made me depressed, because I was just remembering that I'm doing all this for the sake of Jason. I then saw a little boy, with blondish, brownish kind of hair. I gasped. "Jason? Is that you?", I asked myself quietly. I got out of line where Kevin was right next to me, and started to shout my name out. "Kendra? Kendra! Get back over here! What do you think you're doing?!", he asks. But I kept walking. I was determined to find out if that was him or not. As I walked slowly towards the kid, my heart pounded faster. My blonde hair kept getting in my face, and I kept pulling it away. I was nervous. In the background I heard Kevin yelling at me to come back or else. I reached the kid and touched his shoulders, and he turned around. Nope, not him. My heart dropped again, because I thought I had finally found him. "I'm sorry!", I tell him. He started to cry, and so did I. "Mama!", he crys. I whiped my tears, and listened to what he said. "Mama? Mama!", he crys out. I covered my mouth with my hand and crouched down to look him in the eyes. "Are you lost little guy?", I asked him. He whiped his tears with his medium sized, yet chubby hands, and nodded. "Do want want me to help you find your mom?", I asked him. He nodded his head again, and he grabbed my hand. All of a sudden a wave of shock went through my whole body. The warmth of this hand, I feel like I've held this kind of hand before, but from who? I saw him staring at me and I smiled. He smiled back. He told me what his mother looked like. So I went back to the line with Kevin and Jackilen, and told them about it. The next thing I knew, they were yelling at me. "We can't do that right now! We need to leave to Bangiler! We don't have time to look!", says Kevin. "But!" "No buts Missy!", said Jackilen. I looked down at the boy and he was smiling. I looked at Jackilen. "Look, we can't be doing this right now, so leave him somewhere else, and-" suddenly, she was interrupted by a group of men in black with guns. "Alright people! Have you seen two girls, along with a guy wih spikey hair?", he asks everyone. All three of us froze. Oh no! That sounded like us! And they are the same guys from the gas station! They were following us! "Okay, let me make this clear, have you seen Kendra?" I went cold. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! We need to get out of here!
