Dinner

Julian's pov
September 11th, 20XX

"Big brother! Big brother! My tooth fell out!" Charlotte yelled while running to him. She didn't seem to sense the shocking atmosphere. "See! The tooth fairy is going to give me a quarter tonight or maybe gold!"

"That's great! But me and my friends have to pack up my room. Right guys?" He laughed while looking at us with glaring eyes that made a shiver go down my spine. We were a little scared of how fast he changed my attitude so quickly. It was quite shocking to me. "I'll show you my room. It's not that far" He grabbed his gun and put it back under his shirt while walking towards the stairs

"Big brother, why do you have a gun?" She asked with an innocent tone as we watched him stop in his steps.

"Don't worry about it. I just thought I heard something drop in the house" He lies with a smile and continues walking up the stairs "keep that our little secret. Don't tell mom"

"Ok...." she said sadly

We made it to his room. It was a mess. His school books were on the floor along with different shades of papers full of notes. His bed wasn't made, the sheets were a mess with little blood stains in different spots. His clothes were scattered on the floor along with some pillows. "Hey Romeo?" Lacy asked him

"Yeah"

"Are you ok?" Lacy asked while walking towards him. "After what we saw? You see you want us to stay?"

He stayed quiet for a second but answered with a light tired voice, "of course I want you guys here. I'd hate for you guys to leave me here all alone, by myself. You really wanna leave me that bad?" He looked at the clock in his room to see the time was 6:28 pm

"Ah we didn't get much packing done did we?" He grumbled, walking to his closet to get a bag that he dropped his gun in "sorry"

"That's ok. We can do it tomorrow before work" Spencer said with a slightly brave tone. Spencer kept looking at his watch and back at Lacy. It looked like they wanted to leave but couldn't. "But we still have time to get some done"

"Yeah, we can stay till 8:30 tonight if you want us to" Philip added as He smiled

"You guys are the best but," He started and laughed as he looked at us laughing, "you have to keep what you saw a secret. It really is a pain trying to hide bodies"

My body tensed up as he sat down on his bed. He looked at me and looked away explaining, "we have some boxes down stairs if you guys wanna start now? We only have two hours to do this. Lacy, you and Spencer can go help my mom and little sisters with their room while the rest of us tackle down my room. Sounds good?"

"Sounds great!" Lacy laughed while dragging Spencer's arm. "We're going now!" They left the room.

"Me and Aston will go get the boxes" Phil said as they left the room. Aston waved me later

It was just me and him in his bedroom. It was quiet, I don't know what to say to him after what I saw. He started to unbutton his shirt to reveal a black t-shirt under his graphic Devil shirt. He was wearing dark black pants and a thin silver chain. His hair was a mess and he had darker bags under his eyes. He got up and started to take the sheets off of his bed and threw them in a tall black plastic basket that had dirty clothes in it. "Romeo?"

"What happened to 'pumpkin'?" He asked me while taking the pillow cases of the two pillows he had on his bed.

"Are you ok? I know you're tired of people asking you that. But we're worried. I'm worried as well" I tell him in a caring tone. "But I'm here for you if you wanna talk"
