Paying a Visit Part 2

Y/N's POV: 

"Ugh, where am I?"  My eyes slowly fluttered open, I see the light shining brightly towards my direction.  For some reason m body hurts, what happened to me?  "Where ever I am I got to get outta here," I thought.  I immediately rise up, suddenly I felt pain in my back when I tried to move. "AHHHH, Fuuuck!"  

Tears rolled down from my eyes, blood was dripping from my mouth, I felt nothing but pain.  I quickly flopped on the bed in defeat.  Now, that I fully gained conscious, thanks to that "wake up call" I realized that I was in the hospital.  On the right side were a tray of medicine and needles.  While, the left side were computers, more hospital/nurse equipment and a vase of flowers.  "So, this is how a hospital looks like," I thought while I skimmed around with my eyes.  I put my right hand in my hair and ruffled it for a bit, I grinned widely and remembered something from my childhood.

-Flashback-

10 years ago

Age at that time: 12 years old

Location: The Adoption Center In Japan

"Buttt, I don't wannaa go to the hospital, ughhh!"  "But, Y/N you have to dear, they need to give you your vaccine, your the only one not listening to my directions!," replied Lisa.  Lisa pushed my back into the SUV where all the other children were sitting but I wasn't budging one bit.  I activated my quirk, placed my claws deep into the SUV causing a dent so I wouldn't move.  Lisa sighed and removed her hands from my back.  "Y/N, please get in, I'm begging you, if you don't get in then you won't get any ice cream," Lisa said sternly.  Once, I heard that statement, I took my claws off of the SUV, instead of going inside the car with the rest of children, I ran past her and said,"T-that's n-not fair, you're the worst!"  I ran inside with my quirk exposed and went into my room and flopped on my bed crying, with boogers coming out from my snout.

Meanwhile Outside:

Lisa's POV:

"Ugh, I knew this would happen," I thought. Without any hesitation Lisa ran inside to find Y/N, until a familiar figure stopped her.  The man was wearing a space theme suit, he was in mid 20s, his brown hair was messy yet neat at the same time, he had glasses on too.  

"A-adam?  What a surprise to see you," I said with a stutter.  "Lisa, get to the point," Adam replied emotionless.  I explained to that Adam the situation and what happened which caused him to nod.  "I understand," he said calmly.  "I'll take care of Y/N while you go take the kids to hospital so they can be vaccinated," Adam said while walking inside with his hands in his pockets.  She hesitates and almost disobeyed Adam, she sighs and goes back to the SUV where the rest of the children are waiting.  "Sorry for the hold-up, you guys.  I owe you acorns some ice cream, I said while closing all the doors in the backseat and getting in the SUV."    "ICE- CREAMMMMMM, YOU SCREAM, WE ALLL SCREAMMM FOR ICE CREAMMM!!   The children screamed with excitement while we drove off."

Meanwhile Inside the Adoption Center:

Y/N's POV:

I heard footsteps coming from outside.  Was it Lisa?  "L-l-lisa?"  I stammered still crying, boogers coming out and going into my mouth.  I see the door open and footsteps coming closer, stomping on the wood tile floor, echoing loudly.  I see the familiar figure, it was Adam.  "O-Oh, it's you," I hiccupped.  I wiped my tears and boogers away with my sleeve.  

"Where's Li-, suddenly I felt a strong sting on my cheek.. he slapped me!  "Lisa, left. She will not deal with your childish behaviors, you know Y/N nobody will not ADOPT you with that kind of selfish behavior.  You need to learn and know your place, I will NOT let Lisa suck up with your stupidity any longer," Adam said coldly.  As, Adam was about to leave my room, I jumped his head, using my claws I attacked him, causing him to get a medium sized scratch on his left cheek.  He slammed my head towards the door making me bleed a bit.  "You BRAT!" screamed Adam, he grabbed my hand by force, dragging me towards the basement.  "N-not, the basement, I'm sorryy," I cried.  Adam didn't listen instead he kicked my back hard causing me to fall and roll onto the hard, cold, ground.  Bruises were on my legs and forehead.

"Look you brat.  Life. Is. Not. Fair.  Lisa won't be there to hold your hand.  If I hear anymore complaining then you won't be hear for a week, you'll be there for 2 weeks," Adam said harshly.  He closed the door and locked, I didn't have any energy left to run up and fight my way up, I'll I could do is wait for a hero.

1 Hour Later

"I felt like I've been here forever," I thought.  I hear the door open and hear a familiar voice.. it was Lisa and the other adoptees.  I quietly went up towards the basement door and used my quirk called blazing wolf.  Wolf ears appeared on my head, I leaned on the basement door to hear what they were talking about and hoped they tried to find me.  All I heard from the other adoptees was: "Wow, Y/N missed out."  "The ice cream was soo good!" "I wonder where Y/N is?"  "Best Day Eveeer!!!"  "Maybe if Y/N wasn't so selfish, she would haddd ice creammm."  "So, glad Y/N wasn't there, she such a party pooper."  "Heyy, you guys, I can make a fart sound!"  AlI heard were laughter and giggles, the other adoptees even made fun of me.  After, I heard everything I wanted to hear, I just leaned back on the door and cried my self to sleep.

-Flashback Ended-

Y/N's POV:

Instead of smiling at that flashback, I was bummed out.  Now thinking about Adam was right about one thing: I need to know my place, I can't have someone always holding my hand.  I sigh and crossed my arms.  I hear loud footsteps and the door creaking slowly, I rolled my eyes and yelled, "Nobody is here, so you can come in or whatever!"  The door finally swings open, I see 2 nurses enter the room, along with the doctor.  I see 2 other familiar faces: Eh?! The police officer and the rooster boy?!!  "I really need to get out of hear!," I mumbled to myself.  Once, I tried to move again, I screamed in agony.  The 2 nurses scrambled towards me, made me laid back down, and persuaded me not to hurt myself.  The Doctor was on the left side on the computer typing something, he also had a clipboard with papers on it.  Rooster boy was across from me, leaning on the wall while the police officer was eyeing me.

"Y/N L/N, correct?" asked the doctor while looking at his clipboard and flipping the pages.  "I don't know, 4 eyes?" I responded sarcastically.  I felt a punch to head after saying that to the doctor.  "Ow!"  "Call me 4 eyes again, I won't hesitate to throw you out this window," the doctor bluntly responded.  This reaction caused the rooster to laugh, but he quickly hid it.  

For a few minutes, the doctor and nurses decided a give me a examination and a check-up on my body.  "Oh that reminds Y/N, you apparently owe us a few vaccine check ups, you were supposed be here like 10 years ago, but you weren't.  Do me a favor and close your eyes so we get this over with."  Before I could reply I felt something light stab my neck, making me feel drowsy.

"Hey Y/N. Hey Y/N. WAKE UP!"

I felt someone shaking me, I quickly regain conscious.  "Ugh, what happened, hey where is that 4 eyes doctor and the officer?"

"Aww, Y/N already misses them already~" cooed the rooster.  "Oh, it's the rooster," I growled. "Ya know this rooster has a name, right?"   "Ugh, what do you want, chicken fetus?!"

The chicken smiled softly and placed his hand on his cheek.

"I have a job proposition just for you~"
