Chapter 6
I scratched my head at as i looked at the alarm clock beside my table. I usually wake up at 5:00 am to do my daily routines. 8:00 am naman nagsisimula 'yung klase but i prefer to wake up early to watch the sun rise. Mula kasi dito sa bintana ko, kitang-kita ang pagsikat ng araw plus the view gets more amazing with the wide sea as the background.
If i don't get the chance to watch the sunrise, susubukan kong abutin ang sun set.
That's actually the biggest advantage of lola's house. The view here is extraordinary. The tall trees, the green shrubs and the wide beach beyond the small hills.
Malayo ang kapit bahay namin. Though, merong bahay sa harap namin but they do not stay there. Parang ginagawa lang nilang vacation house 'yon. The last time the Dumlao family was here was last year during summer vacation. So it's really peaceful here.
My eyes were still blurry when i stood infront of my window. My eyesight automatically became clear when i saw the light slowly illuminating the dark skies. The sky gradually turned orange as it welcomed the sun.
I opened my window for a better view. Nilanghap ko ang sariwang hangin. The cold breeze made some strands of my hair that are freely falling fly. The breeze made me shiver a little. I caressed the part of my arm that wasn't covered by any cloth.
I stayed and watched for a few more minutes.
Wearing my uniform, i went down. She usually comes at 5 am.
I've always loved fried rice especially kapag madaming bawang. Mas nakakaganang kumain.
"Good morning, ate," i greeted.
Nakatalikod siya sa akin at nagpi-prito. She was swaying her body as she listens to the music from the radio.
"Good morning din, bebe!" She greeted still not facing me.
I heard some footfalls of someone coming at the dining area kaya lumingon ako para tignan kung sino ang dumating.
Kuya was still on his boxer shorts and shirt when he got down.
I frowned at him. "Bakit hindi ka pa ready, kuya?"
Umangat ang tingin n'ya sa 'kin. His other eye was still closed at 'yung isa ay nakatingin sa 'kin. He blinked his one eye again and looked at my uniform. He suddenly bursted into laughter.
"Bakit?" i asked.
She then looked at me and also laughed. Ngayon, pareho na silang tumatawa.
Kuya even fell on the ground because of laughing too much!
I pouted. Why are they laughing at me? May nakakatuwa ba? Is there something on my face?
"Bakit kayo tumatawa?"
I crossed my arms and pouted. Ate Jes on the other hand was laughing with her hands covering her mouth, parang pinipigilan n'ya ang pagtawa dahil nakakahawa ang tawa ni Kuya.
