"Lucario, Absol wants to talk to you", Sylveon poked me. I immediately opened my eyes and rushed to the den Absol shares with Sylveon. I peeked in.
"Absol, I whispered. It's me".
Absol opened her eyes. "Lucario... Come here".
I walk over to her. "I want to talk to you before I die", Absol whispered.
I suddenly grew more serious than I already was. "Don't talk like that! You don't know for sure".
"Yes... I do, Absol croaked. I had a dream about it last night. The main thing I wanted to tell you was that I'm proud of you, and couldn't have asked for a better friend, and I'll miss you". Absols belly wound started to open again. "And, we'll be reunited, someday". A tear fell down her eye. "I'll never forget you, she brushed her head against my shoulder. "Goodbye...." She closed her eyes, twitched then fell still.
"Absol". Tears started to fall down my face. "Absol, no!" My cries split the quiet night air.
