THIRD POV

"Percy" poseidon called out.
"Dad" he slured.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm just... just" he replied like he was almost falling asleep. " just a little dizzy" he stumbled and almost fell but his father caught just in time.
"You should rest percy. with a that power I'm surprised you didn't black out already."
"Im fine i promise."
"Alright i have to go now. your always welcome to come home son. your mother and brother and i will miss you. I understand this new transition might be hard but just know that I'm proud of you son. I have to go now" he wave goodbye before flashing out.

After Poseidon left, Artemis and Percy also took their leave. When they teleported they arrived in the middle of nowhere.The environment was filled with trees and other plants.
"M'Lady what are we doing here?" Percy asked
"We are going to camp out here for the rest of the night. and first thing tomorrow we will begin your training and recruiting.
Percy nodded at this and being the kind person he is offered the goddess some help.
"My lady do you need assistance setting up your tent."
The silver eyed goddess smiled while chuckling softly.
"Perseus you do realize i am a goddess, i can always poof one up." percy's face was flushed "but I appreciate the kind offer."

ARTEMIS POV

Most of my childhood i spent it under my fathers command of training.

It was only when my father saw me at the right age that he let me see the actual world. The world outside of Olympus, the place where mortals live.

The first time i explored i saw it as a beautiful place. A place where there where families feeling joy just with the presence of one another. Where the children would laugh and play. Lights of different colors would fill the streets lighting up the whole city. i was very impressed. It was as if the world was happiness itself.

But that all came crashing down.

I heard a desperate cry for help. I followed the voice that led me to an alley and was shocked to see what i had found.

The sight was horrifying.

This woman was being held down by three men. Looking at their eyes i saw that it was pitch black, as if it were purely empty.
The look as if they were doing it for their own pleasure. As if torturing and violating this woman would heighten their status or would satisfy their desires.

It disgusted me. No one should be treated like that.

That disgust was soon turned into pure hatred and rage.

I took out my knives letting anger fill my heart. I knocked them of their feet with my speed giving the woman a chance to escape.

"Who are you" one of the pigs spat out.

I only answered it with violence.

I grabbed him from behind and and sliced his head off.

"You freak" the other yelled charging towards me.

As if they were match for a goddess.

I grabbed his tongue and cut it off. How dare he waste his gift if speech to bring down others and use such filthy words.

I then slammed him against the wall and stabbed him right next to his heart carving a whole. I then stuck my hand inside and ripped his heart out bringing it out for him to see with the last few seconds of life he had left. The moment he was dead i crushed the organ without any hesitance.

I then turn around to see that the last man was making a run for it.
COWARD!

I ran after him and just as i was a few feet away i threw the knife which hit the back of his neck causing him to fall over.

I then took the knife and cut his spine out. Then dragged him by the leg and dumped him onto the other two.

Satisfied with my work i flashed out.

It was they moment with that a flame grew inside of me. One with determination to destroy all those males that were evil.

Yes at first i only punished males that i saw fit. But as time passed i saw what they were capable of. How cruel they could be. It was not long before i thought that all males were the same.

So this bring me to the time that my father brought us to his council meeting to turn my brother and I into olympians.

It was that time that my views on men were challenged in a very long time.

When i first heard that i was to have a guardian that was a male, I was furious.

Then i found out my guardian would be none other than Percy Jackson.

I have heard of what he has done. All the great deeds, all the selfless acts, it was very hard to believe.

But i knew better than to not trust my father's judgement. He cared greatly for my family especially his daughters. Meaning he was ver overprotective of me.

He knew of my views on men so i know that he would have someone that would have my back. And that person was Percy.

He often spoke about Percy. My father had high standards for him and had a great amount of respect. He would praise him as if he were his own son. To him Percy was the only one that saw him underneath all the power and the crown. He genuinely cared for others even if he did not know them and my father admired that about the young god.

But me having my history with men couldn't let my guard down so easily. Sure i would be more generous to Perseus but i would still be cautious.

I woke up in my tent with a great big yawn. I put on some decent clothes and look outside finding that it was only around 6 am.

I went over to Perseus' tent but finding that there wasn't one.

"Perseus" i called out "Perseus"

Then some muscular figure jumped down from a tree making me shriek. After a few second of having a better look i find that it was Perseus.

"I'm sorry for scaring you my lady." he bowed.

I found that in the time that i have spent with him he has showed nothing but kindness and generosity...and a bit of sarcasm (but the sarcasm was not directed toward me).

So far he has not done anything wrong for me to question his motives and actions...yet.

"Please do not bow Perseus and stop calling me on such formal terms its annoying and besides you are still a god after all."

He made a thinking face. "very well, i will not bow and will call you by your given name but" i raised my eye brow challenging him "only if you call me percy"

"I see no harm in that. Vey well Perseu- Percy." he gave me a toothy grin that made my heart melt. "Well i believe we should get going"

"To where Artemis?"

"Where we can find some hunters."
