Fariy Godmother also known as Dama Fortuna not only had an son,Price Charming, but an daughter named Belle Gold Fortuna. After the King and Queen signed Rumpelstiltskin's contract, Dama knew that she couldn't get Charming to marry Fiona. So, Dama forced Belle to go with her to Rumpelstiltskin's Palace to make the Night/Day contract.

Before all of this, Shrek signed Rumpelstiltskin's contract, which the song starts.

When he saw Belle, he smiled at her by asking,"Did you get the things that I asked, you to get," Belle turns to him by saying,"Of course, Rumple!"
