not me making a fic abt tommy 👀 couldnt be me 

this one been on my mind for a while so-- I'll get to the requests after this one!

A red string of fate is only what you and your soulmate can see, it is unbreakable, only it will disappear when you meet your soulm--

You closed your laptop as you sighed, you stared at this damned string before looking away from it.

Some people are lucky to have soulmates, some are not, some people meet their soulmates, some do not, its life.

You always wondered if you'll ever meet your soulmate, or scared if it's someone you dont like.

You grabbed your scissors and tried cutting the string, as you did so the scissor wont through the string.

You sighed again, putting the scissor back in your school backpack.

'What if I dont wanna meet them...' You said to yourself, worried. You played down on your bed and opening YouTube to get your mind off things.

You looked in your reccomend for a bit before looking at Tommy's newest video, you smiled slightly while clicking on it.

You and Tommy had this small rivalry, though it's all just a skit, sometime you both take it too seriously. You guys knew each other for 3 years, though you never met, you always had fun playing video games or chatting.

Having a friend is better than having a soulmate, anyway.

*RING RING RING-*

You groaned as you slapped your phone to turn your ringtone off, accidentally dropping it

You got out of bed, made breakfast and went immediately to your computer to check Discord, as you opened it you saw 200+ messages from a gc you dont remember being in

you saw that the gc contained Wilbur, Dream and Tommy

Tommy : OH UR FINALLY ALIVE HI

[y/u] : wait what happened I was asleep-

Dream : we were planning on meeting up for a vlog

[y/u] : a vlog???? but where tho-

[Wilbur] : I thought of Britain since most of us already live here :)

[Tommy] : yea ur going to Britain 😼

[y/u] : WHA-

[Tommy] : ur going to britain and ur going to like it

[y/u] : is this a threat-

[Wilbur] : yeah this is a threat 🔫

[y/u] : OKAY FINE-- I'm up for the vlog tho :))

[Dream] : Okay great!! then its settled 😁

You chuckled as you looked at your computer, meeting dream and wilbur in real life?? and also your best friend?? It was crazy, Dream sent you the date we're gonna  meet and you bought plane tickets for it.

I guess this isnt gonna be that bad..

you gulped as you entered the airport, you held your suitcase tighter, you felt really anxious but excited at the same time.

You sent a last text to the group chap before going in the plane, but as you held your phone, you saw the red string, you stared at it for a while before snapping out of it.

You laughed a bit looking at your phone, still having it in hand, you looked around and noticed a Starbucks, decided you're gonna wait for them here

Few minutes passes, still waiting, you decide to get up your chair and look  around

suddenly you get a text from tommy saying 'look behind u idiot', and before you could, you felt someone hugging you from behind

'WH-' I muttered out before looking up and seeing Tommy

'Jeez you're shorter than I expected' he says, letting go of the hug

'dont scare me like that!!' you say, he let out a chuckle

'Its funny when you're scared though'

you sighed, I smiled at him but noticed the others weren't there

'Hey where is Dream and Wilbur?' You asked

'Oh uh, probably put there somewhere, ran away from them just to find you'

'how- how did you even find me'

'I just.. felt like you were here'

You both stood awkwardly until you noticed your hand

'The string..' you mumbled out loud

you looked where the string lead and-

'Y/n..?'

You both stared at each other, for what it felt like forever, until you noticed the string fade away like dust in the wind

'Soulmates???!?' You snapped back out of it in shock
