Alternate Ending

A/N: This story is completed when I came up with the story though there was two endings that I came up with and this is the one I didn't use.

When Adrien woke up it was around 11:30 am, whihc surprised him because Nathalie or his father would never let him sleep in that late, after he got dressed and Plagg ate a couple pieces of camebert and was hidden in his shirt, Adrien was about to leave his room but when he opened the door he nearly ran into his father.
"Adrien, you're awake." Gabriel commented, Adrien thought he heard a siggh of relief coming from his father but he must of have mistaken it.
"Yeah, neither you nor Nathalie let me sleep in this long, why today?" Adrien asked.
"Well Nathalie tried waking you up at the normal time but she couldn't wake you, she informed me and I told her that you were probably just tired and to let you sleep for another couple of hours. When those two hours were up and she still couldn't wake you, I tried waking you but even I couldn't wake you. If you didn't wake up on your own by one in the afternoon I was going to bring a doctor here to check on you." Gabriel answered, and Adrien felt bad for making his father worry.
"I should be making you rest, but a couple of minutes ago your friend Nino, who has been trying to call you all morning.....that's why he said.....informed Nathalie that your friend Marinette isn't able to move and is barely able to talk.....so I'm allowing you to go over to her place for today." Gabriel said, Gabriel knkew he was a cold man but he wasn't heartless and he knew his son would hate him if he didn't let him see his friend for what was most likely the last time.
"But when I texted her last night, it seemed like she was fine." Adrien said, he could feel his heart breaking and he could barely breath, and when he saw her as Chat, she was moving and talking just fine.
"A lot can happen in a few hours, now go to your friends." Gabriel said, Adrien quickly finished getting dressed and raced outside, Adrien was able to reach Marinette's home in twenty minutes, and when he raced into the bakery, Marinette's mother showed him inside the actual house.
"Adrien, you're here." Nino said, as Marinette's mother showed him into Marinette's room, both Nino and Alya were there.
"Marinette." Adrien said.
"Over here." Nino replied, then he led Adrien over to Marinette's bed, where Marinette was laying.....Alya was sitting next to her, and it was obvious that Marinette was trying to talk to her but it wasn't working out well, but she stopped when she saw Adrien with Nino, Alya looked over to them.
"Alya, let's leave them alone for a few minutes." Nino said, as he pointed to Adrien, Alya nodded her head and the two left the room leaving Adrien and Marinette alone, unbeknown to Adrien and Marinette, Plagg flew over to where Tikki was...hidden behind a pillow on Marinette's bed.
"Plagg what are you doing, Marinette could have seen you?" Tikki whispered, loud enough to where Plagg would hear her but nobody else.
"I don't care if she did, that girl is dying....and you know what happens if she does, now whatever Adrien says let him say it, they're ready....and once this is over we're revealing ourselves to them." Plagg said, Tikki looked at him for a second then nodded her head.
"You didn't tell Adrien what would happen if Marinette dies, did you?" Tikki asked.
"No, I wouldn't do that to him.....all I know is that I don't want to lose either one of them to this illness." Plagg answered.
"Me neither, now let's pay attention to our miraculous holders." Tikki said, Plagg nodded his head and the two turned their attention towards Marinette and Adrien.
"Marinette." Adrien whispered, he sat down next to Marinette.
"Adrien, sorry we couldn't make it to Andre's today." Marinette whispered, Adrien felt like his heart was being crushed.
"Don't you dare die on me Marinette." Adrien said, he placed his hand...the one that held Plagg's ring on it, and placed it on top of Marinette's right ear, the ring laying right on top of the earring that was there.
"I'm sorry." Marinette apologized, and her eyes started to close, Adrien felt tears running down his face and he didn't know why he did it but he laid down next to Marinette and pulled her closer to him.
"No Marinette, keep your eyes open, please let me save you from this, so I can protect you from what I can....so I can promise you that you can have all of me for eternity....so I can promise you I love you and you'll be the only one that I want." Adrien whispered, when Marinette still closed her eyes, Adrien sobbed and pressed a kiss to each of her cheeks.
"Please open your eyes, I love you." Adrien whispered, but he was starting to feel tired and felt his heart slow down. Adrien didn't know what was going on so he listened to his heart which was telling him to pull Marinette closer to him and close his eyes. Adrien did what his heart was telling him and after a couple of seconds of pulling Marinette closer to him and closing his eyes, Adrien's heart stopped beating. Tikki and Plagg flew out of their hiding spot and slowly made their way to their miraculous holders.
"Marinette?" Tikki whispered, there was no response.
"Adrien?" Plagg whispered, there was no response. The two kwami's placed a hand on their miraculous holder's wrist....and where there should have been a pulse, there was none.
"No kid, you've got to wake up, please wake up." Plagg begged, but no amount of begging from the kwami wasn't going to wake Adrien.
"Please Marinette open your eyes if you do Adrien will too, then you can have your happily ever after with your three kids and hamster and Plagg and I will be there too." Tikki begged, but begging and promises of happily ever after wasn't going to wake Marinette.
"They're gone." Plagg whispered.
"No they can't be, wake them up Plagg." Tikki begged.
"I wish I could, but I can't." Plagg said, he hugged Adrien's cheek and let out a mournful mewl, while Tikki hugged Marinette's cheek and cried.
"I don't want to leave them." Tikki said.
"I don't want to leave them either." Plagg replied.
"Are we in agreement." Tikki asked.
"Yes." Plagg answered, the two flew inside their miraculous's and sealed them to Adrien and Marinette, so that the Black Cat and Ladybug miraculous's wouldn't leave their current owners.
   A few minutes later Nino, Alya, Tom and Sabine walked into Marinette's room and saw that both Adrien and Marinette's eyes were closed, Sabine and Alya ran over to them and tried to wake them up but it was no use....neither would wake. While Sabine and Alya cried....Tom tried to hold it together and called for an ambulance, and Nino called Nathalie to tell Adrien's father to come to Marinette's home.....that it was urgent and it had to do with Adrien. By the time Gabriel Agreste got  to the Dupain-Cheng residence, an ambulance was already there and workers from the hospital was putting two gurney's with sheets over them into the ambulance. When it was explained that Adrien had died, Gabriel was shocked since Adrien was fine when he left, then he broke down and cried....he had lost his son and nobody could tell him why Adrien died. The next day Gabriel, Tom and Sabine began to plan the funeral since they decided to join the two, it would be easier on everyone. At the end of the week the funeral was held and Marinette and Adrien was buried next to each other....later that night Gabriel just stood in his son's room....just looking at it, then he went to bed....Nooroo just watched as he did so.
"A Ladybug and Chat Noir are two sides of the same coin there can't be one without the other so if one dies the other will soon follow." Nooroo whispered, once Gabriel was asleep.
