You breathed in as deep as you could.

Your heart thumped quicker with each bout of oxygen.

'I can do this...' A nervous thought drifted through your mind as your feet unwillingly carried you towards your destination.

"Hurry up." Aizawa huffed, his hands finding their way into his obsidian colored pockets. You stood in the white circle, a bead of sweat finding its' way down your temple.

You gulped with your sword newly formed in your hand. Maybe now wasn't the time but, well...

When you activated your quirk, it looked almost like colorful particles floating about to form an object. It was mesmerizing...

You held your sword out in front of you, a determined look set on your face.

'All I have to do...'

Aizawa handed you the softball.

'Is balance the materialization...'

You held the ball tightly in your other hand.

'So it doesn't slice through the ball!'

You tossed the ball in the air as you did your best to ignore the confused mutters resonating from your peers.

The hand holding Aizawa's phone twitched, but seeing as you'd thrown the ball above you and it hadn't yet landed, he kept still.

'No!'

Initially, you were going to swing your sword like a baseball bat in an attempt to get the ball flying. You caught the ball, and Aizawa grunted.

Your classmates got even louder.

'It's not worth it.' You pursed your lips. 'If I did slice through the ball and that ended up messing up my chance...!'

You lifted your sword above your head.
Gasps sounded from behind you, but you had to ignore them.

You stabbed the ground as hard as you could. The dirt cracked with the pressure, but that wasn't really your goal.

You hopped up onto the hilt once more, this time with more confidence. That may or may not have been a slight mistake, though, because you wobbled for a good twenty seconds, even though you were crouching.
