Khushi was returning back from Palak's house through the backyard of her house.There was some dishes left remaining after dinner,Palku was fond of some of them,so she went their house to give it.
They had a early dinner around 7.00 pm,considering Nani had to taken her medicine and go to bed early.Also they would be leaving early in the morning next day. Nani asked her to accompany them,but rejected politely saying that she will come later after one week because she need to complete some works before joining there. She noticed the disappointment flickered through Arnav's face as he lowered his head to the dinner plate.
And seeing his expressions, something evoked inside her in the left side of her chest.
A smile instinctively touched her lips when she thought about that moment. She doubted if that would ever change.
There is heaven and then there is hell , Dr.Arnav Singh Raizada would most certainly lead her to both given everything that man evoked in her.
As if the two days at Nila, weren’t torturous enough, triggering some wiered thoughts in her mind, and then her heart not at all listening her own.
Today was no different as the man made his presence all of a sudden with his Nani. That few hours of closeness making havoc in her mind and heart,and not to forgot that butterflies flying inside her stomach continously whenever and wherever they were meeting.
His scent, his slightest touch while she was passing something to him, had tempted her on more than one occasion to push aside all of her inhibitions that she was battling.
The temperature suddenly rose around her,as she came near the pool.She heard the noise of splashing water insides the pool as she walked towards the pool house.
"Who is that inside the pool at this time?" She frowned as mummered to herself.
Her hazel orbs widened at the sight in front of her, as she had missed a heartbeat for a nanosecond.
There she saw him,in the middle of the pool swimming and his handsome face was glowing ,as the moon light shovering all over his face.
She stood there in a stunned silence as her eyes were remaining transfixed on him, when she should be looking away.
She couldn’t stop the rippling waves making her way through her heart, stopping everything in her tracks. It was impossible to control the feeling arising in her as she saw him swimming inside the pool.Nothing covering his muscular upper body, only in a black swimming trunks in his lower body as he did his laps across the pool. He was dripping with water as he dipped his body under the water with a force.
Her legs felt weak as she hesitated a bit and then walked forward ignoring the fluttering of her stomach.
Now he was wiping his face with his hands , while he got a water bottle which he kept on the last step near to the pool.Khushi sighed as she watched his adam's apple bob moving frequently as he gulped down the whole water in a jiffy and then splashed the rest onto his head.
