Never Known - Yoonmin Omegaverse au

Chapter 5

Yoongi heard someone shouting 'stop' outside of his room and he decided to check it out to figure out what the problem was but as soon as he opened his door and saw another alpha on his omega he went crazy letting his wolf take over him in an instant, Yoongi runs to the commotion and pushes the alpha off of the crying omega who looked scared for his life, Jimin immediately hid behind Yoongi as a reflex while Yoongi started to growl getting protective over his mate.

The alpha growled back at Yoongi in instinct since he had lost control of his body to his wolf, Yoongi felt Jimin tighten his grip on him scared of the frightening alpha, Yoongi was not having it and walked towards the guy with eyes that could kill, he was so angry that he thought he might ACTUALLY kill the other alpha, the alpha stepped back in fear from the obviously stronger alpha, he whimpered realizing that he was interacting with the lead alpha slightly coming back to his senses.

The guy had fully come back to his senses when Jimin's sour instead of sweet scent hit his nostrils instead, Yoongi was still furious with the alpha for messing with his omega and trying to fight back with him, Yoongi walked up to the alpha that was bowing down and started to punch him as hard as he could breaking the alpha's nose and busting his lip and the side of his cheek just from two to three punches.

"I swear if you come near my omega again I will rip your throat out are we clear?" Yoongi asks in his alpha voice sending shivers down the weaker alpha's spine, "y-yes sir" the alpha says with a shaky voice

"I AM YOUR ALPHA" Yoongi growls out making the alpha even more scared than before, "y-y-yes a-a-alpha" the alpha says almost crying, "Now leave before I change my mind and kill you" Yoongi says and the alpha hurries to get up before running off, Jimin was still behind Yoongi holding on to him for dear life, Yoongi turned around to face the omega only to find the omega completely sobbing, Yoongi pulls Jimin in for a hug to comfort him

"Alpha...." Jimin cries out and Yoongi swore that he was hallucinating before Jimin said it again with more pain in his voice making Yoongi hurt but also making his heart flutter at the word alpha, this was the first time he felt this way when a omega called him alpha and he was just happy that his mate was ok.

Jimin was with Yoongi in his room talking about anything so they could get to know each other because even if Jimin knew what a mate was he still wanted to at least get to know the alpha before having to be with him "forever", Jimin was honestly shocked at how much things they had in common making him like the alpha even more and he wasn't sure if he was talking like that because Yoongi was his mate or because he just really liked the alpha, but he had one thing certain when Yoongi helped him earlier he grew closer to the alpha and he wasn't going to ever let that go, he was happy that he could get to know someone that he could be genuinely interested in.

"Ok so what was your life like at your pack?" Yoongi asks curious on why the omega left in the first place, "nothing much, I actually never knew what a mate was until Jennie who was originally from my pack came here because of her mate, she told me about mates and how they work and all that important stuff" Jimin says shrugging his shoulders

Yoongi looked at Jimin shocked, "is that why you ran from me when we first met?" Yoongi asks, "Well kinda" Jimin chuckles, "I was really overwhelmed by your strong scent and how it was making me feel and it was honestly really scary"

"I'm sorry" Yoongi says looking down thinking it was all his fault even if it wasn't, "What are you sorry for? You didn't do anything" Jimin laughs, "it's just that, I obviously have never met my mate before and I was surprised too" Yoongi says slightly blushing and Jimin anxiously bit his lip at the word mate because the information was still new to him and he didn't completely know how to feel.

After their talk they decided to go to bed and out of instinct Yoongi was holding Jimin close to him as a way to 'shield him from the world' and Jimin purrs at the sudden action sinking into Yoongi's warm grasp getting as comfortable as possible because he knew one thing for sure was that even if he didn't fully trust his mate, his mate made him feel extremely safe and comfortable to be around and that is what made Jimin want to at least try to get to know more about the handsome and mysterious alpha.

Sorry for the short chapter but this was a kinda fluff chapter for Yoonmin☺️
