Cole Black's Point of View

It's currently been a month since we've been back at Hogwarts and while everything seems the same, I know its not. The first thing I noticed was that there were less people in the great hall on the start of the term feast. Apparently, parents had pulled their kids out and transferred them to other schools because of all of the controversial articles surrounding Dumbledore. Not that I would blame them, if I was a parent, I would probably withdraw my student from the school too.

The second one was subtle but I still noticed it, Severus seemed a lot happier and that reflected in the potions lab and his teachings. We had taken to having hot chocolates and cookies after dinner every Thursday evening. We talked about many things such as where my parents where, what did he do for fun, how were things going between Draco and I.

And the last one was to do with myself, I don't know why it was happening but I kept dreaming about rooms, unknown, mysterious and weird rooms that I was guessing were hidden somewhere in Hogwarts.

I didn't really know what to think about it and Hogwarts herself hadn't given any input either so I was stumped, and so was everyone else. I hadn't had a dream like that in a few days now but the last one I had was a little haunting if I was being completely honest.

It was dark, extremely dark, darker than it should be considering there were lamps on the walls. Slowly moving down, the corridor I didn't know what to expect, heck I didn't even know why I was walking down such a dimly lit corridor where the light seemed to get dimmer and dimmer by each passing second. The corridor walls were made out of this cold stone and I could tell it was old. I could also tell hardly anyone had been down here in the past 100 years or so except for the 2 sets of footprints outlined in between the layers of dust. However, it wasn't just 2 sets of footprints, there was also the outline of something, maybe someone who had looked like they had been dragged. I shut my eyes, not wanting to think about it. A loud thud echoed throughout the corridor and I flinched. Why had I decided to come down here alone? Why was I even here in the first place? I didn't know.

"Hey C, come on you were the one who suggested we all go back to your private room and do some research on Sirius' journal" I faintly heard Kaelie call out in the common room as my thoughts about my last dream faded away. I pulled myself to my feet, feeling heavier for some reason. Something about that dream nerved me to no end. But I couldn't tell where it was, for all I knew it was just a figment of my imagination.

"I'm coming" I said wrapping my Slytherin coloured scarf around my neck. Well it wasn't mine, it was Draco's originally, but a few weeks ago we were watching one of the Quidditch games, Hufflepuff versus Ravenclaw, and I was freezing my ass off and so he removed his scarf from his neck and placed it around mine. Of course, I had been meaning to give it back but Draco had just waved it off and bought another, so now it was mine.

When I arrived at my private room everyone else was already there, the journals and letters scattered around the table situated in the kitchen area. They had already started but I didn't mind, I just sat down in the seat next to Draco who kissed me on the cheek before getting all serious again. I smiled fondly at him before flipping through the some of the pages of one of my mothers journals to see if we could find out anything that may hint to where they could be.

Minutes soon turned to hours and none of us realised it had gotten dark already since the lights automatically flicked on when it hit a certain time indicating there wasn't enough sunlight to properly light the room anymore. And the only thing that seemed remotely helpful was the last journal entry from Sirius but we still couldn't decipher what it meant yet.
