Nightmare sat by his mom's grave for a long time. He didn't want to go home, home was lonely...

"BROTHER!" Dream voice was heard and he ran to Nightmare side " Reaper just called! "

Nightmare tilted his head in confusion "why?"

" You wouldnt answer your phone and....Killer and Cross...th-their I'm the hospital.. " Dream looked like he was trying not to cry

"WHAT WHY!?" Nightmare stood up in a panic

Dream shook his head " im not sure Reaper just said to tell you"

Nightmare looked at Dream in disbelief. And he took out his flip phone that Reaper made him get, he called Reaper.

"NIGHTMARE!?" Reaper voice was raspy like he'd been crying

" Reaper what happened? " Nightmare said sounding as calm as he could do he wouldn't make Reaper more up set

There was a sob from the other end of the phone "Th-they...wh-where helping m-m-me clean up the library....a-as a surprise for.when you got back! B-but one of the book shelves......f-f-f-f-fell a-and...i-i-i couldn't get them outta the way....in time-" Reaper broke down into sobs

Nightmare ran passed Dream and to the car "hang on I'm on my way" Nightmare voice broke as he started the car

Reaper continued to sob "Nightmare...I'm...scared wh-what if their not ok...."

Nightmare took a deep breath tears slipping down his cheeks "I-it's going to be ok Reaper...they...they are going to be ok. I'm almost there. So just breath for me ok?"

Reaper took a deep breath before speaking "o-ok"

It took Nightmare about 10 minutes to get to the hospital when normally it would have taken 30 he was lucky he didn't get pulled over. He kept Reaper on speaker the hole time he was driving and as soon as he arrived at the hospital he told Reaper and hung up before rushing in.

Reaper sat anxiously in a wait room Lust was rubbing comforting circles in his back and Dance was crying him being extremely worried and his new family.

Nightmare came rushing in not to long after he hung up on Reaper.

Reaper stood up and ran to Nightmare and Hugged him as tight as possible "N-Nightmare!" Reaper yelled under his breath as sobs escaped him.

Nightmare hugged Reaper just as tight "h-how are they?"

Lust shrugged "they haven't updated us on anything"

Nightmare frowned and him and Reaper sat down Nightmare held Reaper s hand as the taller tried calming down. Nightmare had been in hospitals before and if they don't update the family for a while then they aren't in very good condition.

After about 30 more minutes of waiting a doctor walked out and over to the worried four. "They are in stable condition now but" he said sounding annoyed

Reaper let out a shaky sigh of relief he was thankful they where ok and Nightmare looked at the doctor " but?"

"It turns out when the book shelf fell on them Killer jumped in front of Cross so he suffered the most damage. Witch includes A broken arm and 3 broken ribs. Cross only has 1 broken rib. Witch to be honest we where surprised they where not hurt worse both of their body's seem to have gone threw a lot"

Nightmare nodded "can we see them?"

The doctor nodded and motioned for them to follow him into a room witch they all did.

They waked in and saw Cross in one bed and Killer in the other Cross was the only one away tho. "H-hi. Nightmare"

Nightmare went over to Cross "how you feeling?"

Cross smiled "i have been better"

Nightmare smiled sadly "You're fault" the voice was back

Reaper walked over and him and Cross started talking Nightmare sat in a chair next to Killer bed as the voice continued to talk.

"You could have gotten them killed. Oh wait you wanted to kill Cross right~"

Nightmare stood up "I'll be in the bathroom"

"Ok" Reaper said

Nightmare walked to the bathroom and sat in a stall as the voice continued to mock him.

"What would you have done if Killer died?"

Nightmare didn't respond

"Would you have laughed?" Nightmare shook his head

"Do you think Nightmare is ok?" Cross asked

Reaper shrugged "I'm not sure but he's probably just a bit shaken up"

"Ppppffffttttttt shaken? He's probably petrified" Reaper looked over and saw Killer was now awake

"Don't laugh and Mr. Nightmare" Dance said glaring at the bed ridden Killer

Killer sighed "sorry kiddo" he said as he ruffled Dance hair.

Lust sighed "I'll go check on him" Lust said and walked to the bathroom

When he entered the bathroom he hates the sound of throwing up "Nightmare?"

No response

Lust walked over to the only.stall that was closed and knocked. "Nightmare you ok?"

The throwing up stopped and a dark present filled the bathroom. Lust frowned as fear bubbles in the pit of his stomach he took a step away from the stall as the door slowly opened the bathroom seemed to darken as Nightmare stepped out of the stall.

Lust covered his mouth with his hand "N-Nightma-"

"I know what you're going to say" Lust gulpped Nightmare voice was much deeper now "you're going to ask 'what happened? Are you ok?'" Nightmare stepped closer to Lust and lifted his chin so the two where staring detector into each other's eyes Lust notice that Nightmare purple eyes where real well only one of them was visible " am I right? "  Nightmare lips twisted into an unsettling grin

Lust opened his mouth to speak but he wasn't given the chance. Something slimy wrapped around Lust hand "Nightmare...you're scaring m-me."

Nightmare stepped back but whatever had a hole of Lust hand only tightened "Scaring you? Hah"

Lust gasped as 3 tar covered tentacles thrashed about behind Nightmare, Lust looked at his hand seeing a fourth one wrapped tightly around his hand.  "Nightmare e-everyone is worried"

Nightmare chuckled darkly the tentacles disappeared and he walked out of the bathroom leaving Lust petrified and by himself
