It's dark now, which makes it easier to get through the city unseen, I think I'm getting closer to the edge of the city. There are more houses than businesses around here.
I try to keep going, it's getting hard to keep carrying Hux but we can't stop for any reason until we are in a safer place.
I keep thinking about my father, I have a few good memories of us together.

Me and my father walked through the woods of Endor, mom and uncle Luke were having a meeting.
My father would talk to me about different things about planets, the people...how it was the Resistance's job to protect the galaxy and how one day it would be mine.
"Ben one day when you're older you will be a Jedi like your uncle Luke and you will save the people of the galaxy," my father had said.
I was only six years old and I looked up at him.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes," he smiled down at me and I smiled in return. I looked over at the lake that we had come to...it was so peaceful...so perfect.
At the time I honestly had no idea what he was talking about. But now... now I do. I have to save these people, even if I have to do this alone, then I will.
I tried to keep going but to be honest it feels like Hux is getting heavier. The streets of the city I had just passed was nothing but ash and ruins, probably the aftermath of the stormtroopers.
The words that my father said to me kept repeating in my head over and over like it was pushing me in the right direction.
Times are different, it wasn't always this way, there was a time when people actually cared about each other not just about how much power they had, Snoke changed everything and everyone.
My fathers words are still clear in my head I can still hear them repeating over and over:
"Ben one day when you're older you will be a Jedi like your Uncle Luke, and you will save the people of the galaxy."

My pace had gotten slower and slower, I walked along the old ash covered street, I have to get us out of here, I have to find the Resistance, that thought is running through my head as well. I wish I could have seen my mom one last time before she died, to tell her how much I love her. She always looked out for me, sometimes I get the feeling she's watching over me like a guardian angel, I miss her so much.
I walked around a corner and almost ran right into a group of stormtroopers.
I don't really think that walking around up here is such a good idea. It's too easy to get caught and I didn't really hang around anyone other than Hux and FN-2187 so I don't think anyone of them would let us go.
Something in the corner of my eye caught my attention, a ship platform was a few feet in front of me. I walked over to it, and when I reached it I could see a star yacht parked there. I walked down the stairs to star yacht and opened the door once I reached it, I walked inside with Hux still on my shoulder. Once I was inside, I laid him down in one of the seats and sat down in the pilots seat. I took off of the platform, flying into space.
To be honest I have no idea where we're going or where the Resistance is, all I know is that we're getting out of here. I jumped into hyperspace going to the Resistance base. I wanted to see what was left, to see if there were any survivors.
When we came out of hyperdrive, the planet Yavin 4 came into view. I got the landing gear out before I landed the ship in front of the old rebel base. It looked broken down and like no one had been here since the Rebellion. I honestly don't think that anyone has been here since then.
I looked out at the horizon. The sun has already began to rise above the trees.
