She lovedLoved so much
It became an addiction
It was all in her head
A great work of fiction
She was blinded
By her deep love
Seemingly blind too,
To their broken bonds
And promises untrue
For her love
Was so intense
It broke all they had
They drifted apart
As they walked hand in hand
Her longing for everlasting
Ruined their chances
Of ever being together
She wanted him so bad
She lost him forever

I don't read poetry, I don't consider myself good at writing it either. Unfortunately, the rare few poems that I write, end up being my only finished projects.
I'm still learning. I am pretty sure this isn't how poetry works; but I focus on the subject rather than the words.
What do you think this metaphor represents? Let me know!
Thanks for your support. Lots of everlasting love,
xx
