I looked at Demi with tears in my eyes. Did I just hear her confess her love for me? I didn't realize that we both been looking into each other's eyes for a moment. I got out of my seat and hugged Demi while crying silently.
"Mercedes, Did I say something wrong?" Asked Demi
"No Demi, you didn't say anything wrong." I said wiping my face. I couldn't believe that Demi is in love with me. Don't get me wrong I didn't expect her to flat out tell me that she's in love with me like this but now I'm torn between my husband that I've been married for almost 5 years and the girl who I have strong feelings for. I tried calling Sarath but he sent me straight to his voicemail. I couldn't believe what I had saw from his text message. I fell to my knees and cried. Demi kneeled to me and looked into my eyes. I showed demi the text message.

"I-I gotta go, I just need to get out of here" I said crying. I grabbed my jacket and left Demi's house.
20 minutes later
I pulled up to My house and saw sarath sitting on the front porch with a moving truck in front of our garage. I got out the car and walked to him in tears. He looked up at me with tears in his eyes as I known he has been crying but I didn't only see tears in his eyes. I saw hurt, anger, disappointment, and betrayal. I kneeled down to him and I hugged him but he tensed up as like he was disgusted at me.
"Sarath, please I love you and only you. I'm so sorry baby please stay." I begged him with tears falling from my eyes
"No you don't Mercedes you don't love me. How long has this affair between you and that woman be going on? I deserve to know the truth!" Screamed Sarath.
I explained everything to Sarath and told him how much I loved him. Sarath looked at me so heartbroken that it tore me up inside. I loved sarath with everything in me. I didn't care about Demi at the moment. I wanted my husband to be with me to death do us part.

I stood there crying my eyes out. He was gone forever. I went into the house that sarath and I Once shared and laid on the couch and cried. I cried and cried til I cried myself to sleep. I didn't want to be by myself but I didn't want anyone but sarath. I saw Ryu laying next to me asleep. I rubbed his fur and it made me feel a little better. I saw that Demi called over 20 times. I ignored her calls and put my phone on do not disturb. I didn't want to think about her. I didn't want to see her. I didn't want to hear her voice. I wanted her out of my life. I didn't love Demi the way she loves me anymore. I just wanted my husband back where he belongs. Here with me and Ryu as a family.
