You grinned widely, gripping the new nintendo switch that had just arrived in the mail for you. You had saved up money for months; babysitting your brothers, cousins, the kids of family friends. You even begged Coach Ukai to let you work for a few hours a day for some cash.

You tossed aside the box and plopped down in your bean bag chair that sat in front of your small TV as you began to set up the device.

You listened to the squeaking of shoes as the boys practiced for the day as your face was stuffed in your switch since you finished what the coach had asked you to do.

"(Y/N)! Watch out!"

You lowered the device from your vision, looking up to see a ball heading straight for your face. Before you had time to react or even realize what was going on, you were on the ground gripping your bloody nose as the team surrounded you.

"Look at what you did, you stupid!" Kageyama growled, smacking Hinata in the back of the head.

"Ow!" the small boy whined, rubbing the spot. "I was an ACCIDENT! Maybe it wouldn't have happened if you didn't hit it so hard, Kageyama!"

The two continued to bicker, though your attention was redirected to Coach Ukai who helped you to sit up, asking if you were okay.

"Yeah," you sighed, holding your nose so the blood would slow and hopefully stop.

"I'll take them to get cleaned up," Kiyoko offered as you stood up. "Thanks, Kiyoko-senpai, but I can do it myself."

You sighed as you bent down to pick up your switch, smiling when you saw that it hadn't been damaged. So, after Daichi had Kageyama and Hinata apologize to you, you headed off to the nurses office for some ice.

It was the second night at the training camp, and once again, as always, you were sitting in your chair with your feet pulled to your chest on your game. You hadn't eaten anything yet, mainly because you were too busy talking to your friend applepi.

Well, that wasn't their actual name of course, just their gamer tag. Yours was bad_bunny; you chose it when you were a kid, and have been too lazy to change it on all of your devices.

'I'm having dinner with my team, right now. One of my teammates is yelling at everyone xD'

"Oh? Your team sounds a bit rowdy.'

You thought for a moment as you glanced over at Asahi who was beside you. Generally, you wouldn't sit at the table with the third years, simply because they were older, but they insisted since everyone else was so worked up.

You giggled lightly as you responded with a simple: 'I suppose so.' After that, he had invited you to play animal crossing with him. Generally you didn't play it, but that's because you find it much funner with someone else, so, you accepted.

"You've been smiling at your game a lot, (Y/N)," Daichi spoke up, glancing around Asahi as he noticed your untouched food. "You should eat. It's not good to fall asleep on an empty stomach, ya know."

You brushed off what he previously said, deciding to focus on the second half. You didn't want to have to explain to one of your favorite senpais that you had a tiny crush on your gaming buddy. "Okay, Daichi-senpai," you hummed, setting down the game to pick up your rice bowl.
