Leela was having an ordinary day so far waking up, getting dressed and going to work by the Tube Transport System. She had recently been tricked into marriage with a cricket shape shifter called "Alcazar" luckily the wedding was called off but she was still emotionally scarred from the event. The thought of what she had done with Alcazar popped into her head while at work with Fry and Bender talking about the time Bender went to a suicide booth in the background she remembered her time with him and that there was no protection was used while they tried to repopulate her species. She had strange thoughts about whether shape shifting alien crickets could impregnate other races. Meanwhile Bender and Fry moaned on in the background "Hey Bender remember that time you adopted loads of orphans?" asked Fry "Sure do, those little meat bags brought me nothin' but trouble, they can bite my shiny metal ass if you ask me!" Leela continued with her day as normal delivering packages and cleaning up after the rest of the team.
Later when Leela arrived back at her small flat she decided to take a pregnancy test to be sure. "The newest and best pregnancy tests take up to 12 hours but are the most accurate," she read of the miniscule notes at the bottom of the small cardboard box "Ugh okay I guess..." Leela sighed annoyed at how long it would take but at least it would give pinpoint precision with exactly how long she had been pregnant and how long was left. She went to sleep thinking about alcazar and what its baby would look like.
