Nephilim and cambion {a zodiac story}

Ch1. Dead, dead, dead

A young man with a big dark mop of hair that was way to long and round, electric blue eyes walked down the alleyway, his long black cloak draping against the floor . It was a rather cold night and it didn't help that it was pitch black outside, it was the sort of night that would usually make your hair on the back of your neck stand up or make your heart beat faster even though it gave you no reason to.
the boy however, hardly seemed fazed with the darkness or the loneliness, like it somehow comforted him but couldn't shake the feeling like he was being watched. when he saw a feminine silhouette in the corner of his eye, he stopped dead in his tracks, he shrugged it off though and continued to wander the night.
As he turned the corner he was startled by a tall, beautiful girl about 17-18 with long lilac hair that shimmered in the moonlight and a matching pair of big lilac eyes staring back at him, she was wearing a tight, short, black dress, a pair of black heels and a silver locket that dangled down neck that sparked whenever she moved.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there" she apologised
"The apology is all mine" he replied as the girl smiled "what's your name, gorgeous?"
"I'm Virgo" she answered sweetly before lashing out her whip around his legs, catching him off guard "and your a naughty demon whose done very bad things"
"Nephilim" he spat
Virgo dragged the boy deeper into the alleyway as he squirmed around in horror hoping to grip onto something to pull himself back up.
Another girl flew down from the building above to were they where, this girl was looked slightly older than the first though she was a little smaller and had silvery hair that was partially pinned back, her eyes the lightest blue to the point were they almost seemed white while  her outfit was a metallic cloth and rather revealing showing her pale skin.
"Great job, v" she said not taking her eyes of the dark haired boy
"Thanks cance" Virgo chirped stepping back so cancer could examine him better, he tried to haul himself back up of the ground but was immediately stopped by a dagger that caught hold of his sleeve pinning him down. A boy with jet black hair emerged, twirling another knife through his fingers, his caramel eyes dancing.
"Another pest killing mortals for fun" cancer sighed "shame on you"
"Forgive my sister" another boy said from behind the other, his features where rather similar to cancers, the same silvery-white hair and eyes and was equally as pretty
"she's gets a bit cranky when it's past her bed time" the first one smiled and cancer replied by holding up her middle finger at the him
"Capricorn, Gemini, thanks for joining us" Virgo thanked them tightening the whip around the demons leg.

The young man dark hair used all his might and broke free of the whip, braking it into a few pieces during the process and when the demon hunters realised it they began to rush after him despite the fair distance, it didn't matter though because the man suddenly stopped because they saw a sword pierce right through his chest, the man disappeared into fire dust revealing a blonde boy with golden eyes, he took his sword and began to wipe the black gloopy blood onto his torso while pulling a face of disgust.
"Leo!" Cancer scolded "what do you think your doing?!?"
"Saving all your asses... again" he answered blankly clearly not caring how pissed cancer actually was
"I was about to get some answers out of him, about who he's working for!" She complained
"Well you clearly wasn't about to get anything out of him considering he was half way up the alley ready to continue on killing innocent humans so a thank you would be nice" he shot back at her "to be honest I'm  still not sure why I'm not leader, I'm the strongest, fastest, most powerful and I've killed the most demons"
"How about the fact your narcissistic, impulsive, impatient, reckless, arrogant - shall I continue?" Cancer explained as Leo pretend not to listen.

They chatted amongst themselves until they walked into a huge building disguised as an abandoned warehouse on its own, in its true form it was a rather magnificent building, like a castle.
"Pisces! were back" cancer called out for their absent team mate
"Took you guys long enough" Pisces smiled, she had shortish dirty blue hair, mint green eyes and was in a nightgown due to the fact it was eleven o'clock at night
"Is professor Orion awake?" Gemini asked her, she nodded and they all followed her into the library that was filled to the brim in all kinds of marvellous books
"Professor Orion?" Virgo said approaching his old swivel chair, she reached out and turned it around and to her horror she found him dead with his throat slashed out. Pisces turned away burying her head into Capricorn's shoulder and began to sob, cancer covered her mouth with her hand as Gemini turned away.
"Oh, professor Orion" Leo muttered crouching beside his mentors corpse
"who did this to you?"

First chapter!!! I am so excited to do this series and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it and the series will get better I promise 💕
