Overated love

Family frenzy

A few 30 seconds later Ciara and I had reached the kitchen. Lilly was already staring into her lasagne pledging herself not to gobble it up whole. We took our seats and waited for Liam, Jessica and Aunt Hayley.

Jessica came down flicked he hair and filled her plate. Jess is my little sister she's 12 years old and she has miss popularity written all over her, she's not mean like a popular girl but she does get real bossy and snotty. She'll call me a selfish pig if we don't wait for her ONLY me. She has strawberry blond hair with Aqua eyes and she has freckles over her nose which is quite sharp.

Liam my twin is another story, Liam and I are identical twins. He had brown hair and sharp green eyes. The only difference is that he's a boy and I'm a girl. Ok maybes there's one difference the hair and he has a stronger face. I have so many dimples it's disgusting.

Liam came rushing down the stairs with his footy jersey on sobviously he had training. "Hey Naomi", he said while he busily filled his plate. "Hey", I replied we don't talk that much but when we do it's over something important. We used to be really close we were the best of friends.

Our favourite game was Huntsman, which I fancily made up. It's when one player goes behind a tree with a broom and falls asleep if that's even possible. Then the other person has to sneak around that person to get their stuff back that the huntsman took. He then chases you if you take more than 5 seconds taking your things. He tries to tag you unless you cross the black square.

Really if you think about it, weird game right? But Liam and I were always bored and we never got enough of that game. When Jess was born we would sometimes throw her into the missing items. Obviously we got in trouble when I screamed and chased Liam and she started to cry. One time Liam dropped her while running back.

If you ask me I really did miss Liam and I wanted to spend time with him but we were just to busy. He had his football and tutoring, I had my dance, basketball , drama, singing ,piano, band , tutoring, art classes. Point is we were to busy for each other and high school split us up with his friends and my friends.

What I like about Liam is he's not strong head he brags about people, me. He never says, " Do you know I play Australian league football for Essendon ?" And he doesn't say, "my test scores are over 80 and you won't even get in as a plumber." He's a sweet loving guy with a big heart.

Aunt Hayley took her sweet time down the stairs at the corner of my eye Lilly was banging her head against the table and groaning. She finally came, "Hi everyone how was your ol diddly day?". "Good", we all said Aunt Hayley loves to talk. "Ok then", she said as she took her seat and filled her plate.

Mum came in strolling and stared at everyone, "where's Clive didn't he want to stay?". Liam replied, "it's Clint mum and no he had some errands to do for his mother." My mum gushed, "ohh how sweet of him to do things for his mum wish mine could do that". Damn! I had my fingers crossed that he'll stay.

I rolled my eyes as Jess raised her eyebrows and put her hands on her hips. "Thanks mum,"'Liam sarcastically replied. "Ok dig in!" mum instructed. We ate while mum talked about her day at work how they want her to join a new label company the usual story.

Lilly obviously finished first and went for seconds while we all enjoyed our food. Funny no matter how much food she eats she still stays so skinny. She goes to the gym once a week but woah if that were me I would be a blown up walrus.

Soon everyone had finished and we were all helping to pack up. While cleaning mum asked if we like her lasagne and garlic bread. "Beautiful, exquisite , nice, tasty, yummy" then Jess said. "It was alright nothing fancy."

We all turned to Jess with our eyebrows raised. "What? It was even that good!" She stormed away rolling her eyes leaving mum laughing. Jess really thought she was a princess luckily mum didn't take her seriously but Aunty Hayley hated it.

"You think you can make better food!! Aunt Hayley waved her fist. She then grumbled, "damn kids don't have respect." I couldn't help myself but laugh she cracked a smile, "at least you know how to treat people." "Thanks Aunt Hayley." She nodded as she walked up to her bedroom.

Lilly and Ciara were going home in Lilly's car, I hugged them both and told them to come on Saturday with beach bags, money etc. I wished them good bye as they pulled out of my drive way.

I went up to my room and texted Wendy the same thing I told Ciara and Lilly. Wendy was another friend of ours, she was a music prodigy she played heaps of music perfectly and perfected at it. She has brown hair with brown eyes. She's quite shy but she's crazy and hilarious around us.

After texting her I went to my brothers room to ask him some questions. I knocked at his door, "come in". I walked into his room that smelt like absolute crap I wanted to walk straight out but I had to get this donee and over with.

"Yes Naomi", he looked at me confused while I plugged my nose with a clothe peg. "Sorry about the smell by the way". I grimaced at his smart remark and asked him, "Who's this Clint guy? and how do you know him?" He sighed,

"Well met at him party been best mates since then, and he dances!!!". I rolled my eyes and chuckled as he put his hands on his cheeks and squealed. "I met him today."
"Cool he might be coming to Rye on Saturday."

Wait what! Did Liam just say that. "He's coming?" "I mean I don't really have anyone to talk to there and mum doesn't mind." "You have me!" I gestured to myself. He laughed, "We are different and you know that ok? And why do you want to know so much about him?"

Damn I didn't think about this part. "Well idk I just walk into the house and he's there! I explained. He grinned, "Don't worry he's not like my stupid footy friends he won't hurt me or get drunk and bash people."

As much as I liked Clint I had to protect my brother it is the role of the older twin. He's friends used to get drunk and start punch ones and my brother was always in the middle of it. They used to gang up on him in games and so much more.

"Don't worry about me, kay sis?, thanks for your concern though." I nodded and walked out if his room into mine. I brushed my teeth, slipped my pjs on and went to bed. Before I shut my eyes after my exhausting audition I thought about Clint it was nice to know that he might come to beach after all.
