Angie pulled me back to Antonio and the others and just as I was expecting it her father looked coldly at me.
- Dad! - Angie hissed suddenly - I know that look!
- That's good then - he said - Why is he still here? Shouldn't he be going back home now?
- I uhm....
- Dad... He saved my life! He wasn't the one of those! He saved me from that creepy guy and I love him!
- What?!
- You heard me! - she said as she hugged me.
- Angie... Are you...
- I love him... I was a bitch at the very first moment we met and it wouldn't have surprised me if he doesn't want to be friendly at all, but he was. He did his best to make me trust him and...
She then looked up at me and smiled.
- And I fell in love... I just couldn't help it...
- Angie... - her father sighed - Alright...
He then walked closer to me and held his hand out to me.
- I allow you to be together... But take a very good care of my daughter, understood?!
- Yes, Sir! - I nodded then we shook hands.
- Good... - he smiled and I took a huge sigh of relief while hugged Angie tightly to me.
----- TIME SKIP -----
Later on I borrowed a police car and decided to go and see if my old house is still up and Angie joined me so I wasn't alone... But yet I was a bit scared...
As we arrived there I couldn't help sighing deeply... My house is still there, still the same... And I suddenly remembered the time when I was living there... With her...
- German... Are you okay? - Angie asked next to me as she got a hold of my hand.
- Yeah, I am... Just some old memories came back... That's all...
- Good... Or bad?
- Both... But let's go in! - I smiled at her and we went in, but surprisingly the door was open - Huh...?
We went in and looked around.
- Is anyone here?? - I asked and suddenly I hear a familiar scream from the kitchen.
- Mr. German!!
It was Olga, my housekeeper in this house.
I remember telling her before I left that since she's from Germany and she doesn't have any house here in Buenos Aires she can stay in this house.
She came out of the kitchen and first she hugged my tightly.
- Mr. German!! - she cried - I thought I'm not gonna see you here anymore!!!
- Calm down, Olga - I laughed - And I thought I'm not gonna return either... But things happened...
She just now noticed Angie standing next to me, looking confused.
- Oh! Who's this young lady? - Olga asked.
- She's... Well, she's the reason I changed my mind and she's the reason I'm here again. Her name's Angie.
- It's nice to meet you, Angie! - Olga cheered, but instead of hand shaking she hugged her which surprised her at first, but then she returned the hug.
- Nice to meet you too... - Angie said.
- Olga! My name's Olga anyway! - she laughed - Oh, my hat! You two need anything??
I looked over to Angie.
- A tea would be nice - she said.
- Then two tea - I said.
- On the way, Sir! - Olga nodded then went back to the kitchen.
Meanwhile we sat down in the living room with Angie to talk.
- So... What happened that... That made you leave from here? - Angie asked.
- Uhm... Well, I'm not sure if I've told you before, but once I was married... - I began.
- You told me something like this.
- Okay... Well, I've been living here with my wife... In this house. You probably have heard about her before since she was famous... Her name was...
- Maria Saramego! - Angie gasped - Yeah... Oh god... What was it exactly... Car crash?
- Yeah... - I nodded - Atleast this is what the news said...
- Huh?
- I... Don't want to talk about that... - I sighed, looking down.
This is the first time I'm talking about Maria to someone else and it's not so easy.
I guess Angie sensed this because she hugged me right away as I felt so uneasy.
- You have no idea how happy I am that I met you... - I said as I hugged her back.
