It's now Sunday and those thoughts in my head haven't disappeared. Everything was new and I didn't know how what to think. This affected my days to the point where I'm not myself most of the time. I would eat very little of what I used to eat, I'd talk less to those who I'm close with as well. I got up from lingering in my head and decided to get ready for work.  I took a bath, dressed up and pampered my face and hair, ate a quick meal before grabbing my stuff and leave. As I walked down the stairs, I bumped into the same guy who asked me for places that were hiring.  "Oh, good morning!" he greeted me with a smile "Morning to you too, did you get the job?" I asked with a slight smile. The guy nodded and said they were quite impressed by him and he might get promoted if he does extra work. I was pleased and gave him a pat on the shoulder to congratulate him. We both waved goodbye and went on with our day.

I left the building locking the door like usual. When I turned around I accidentally bumped into someone landing flat on my behind. It took me a minute before I got up on my feet still a bit hurt by the fall. "Watch where you're going!" the guy yelled at me pissed off "I'm sorry, I wasn't paying atte-" before I could finish my sentence, this guy scoffed and walked off. I felt like my apology wasn't needed which made me a bit discouraged. I grabbed my bag and my keys that were on the floor and headed to work. As I was walking past the same park, I felt chills again up my spine and this was a bit different. I looked behind me and there was a guy right behind me. He wasn't too close but he seemed to be staring daggers at me. I continued to walk but went a little fast just to see if I can lose him. As I got to my work place, I looked behind me again. The man was just standing in the front of the store, across the street still staring daggers at me.

I entered the store and the usual greetings came up but, Ricky seemed a bit off. "Ricky, everything alright?" I asked him as I sat next to him at the cashier. He shook his head as a no. I continued to ask questions and he said he was feeling like someone was watching him from somewhere near his house. I told him that I felt the same thing but it was only when I'm on my way here. We both looked around then I took my sight towards the front of the store. I didn't see the guy from earlier when I gazed my view to the building across the street.  I went on with my duties stocking the shelves, dusting shelves and greeting customers like usual.

The day slipped by quickly and my shift ended, hence me being the only one left in the store that night. I was restocking the shelves like I was told to do before locking up for the night. I finished restocking then I headed to the backroom to get my stuff. I left the store closing up for the night and made sure I didn't forget anything in my bag. I walked home with the usual cold winds blowing against me as I enjoyed the scent of the city. I passed by the same store to buy some of my necessities. I got to the check out when me and the cashier heard screaming outside the building. It was odd on how someone would scream like that. The screams we usually hear around here are the screams of either playing kids or sport games, but this one wasn't one of those. As the cashier asks me to wait a moment so he could go check it out, a loud crash was heard followed with screams. The cashier rushed outside to check out what happened.

A few hours passed and the cashier still hasn't come back. I got fed up and went outside to check what happened to him. I came outside and looked around to look for the cashier. He wasn't anywhere near the payphone or the ATM station, so I went around the corner to see if he was there. As I walked around the corner of the building, my jaw dropped and my heart stopped for a moment. I saw 5 bodies...laying there covered in blood. I couldn't make out their faces, but I can tell one of them was the cashier. As my heart rate rose rapidly and my anxiety getting to me, I rushed for the payphone to call 911. I looked around the place to check if I was being watched, luckily when they picked up the phone I gave them the information they needed and tried to explain what happened. I was in tears. This murder was presented to me up-close and it gave me the thought this was a warning.

As the officials came and investigated the crime scene, I was being questioned inside the store about how and when did this happen. One of the questions ticked me "Ma'am, did you ever have any encounter like this before?" asked the officer. I paused there and I looked as if I had seen something like this. The answer was obvious to the officer. After a few minutes of questioning me, the officers offered me a ride home just to be safe that I don't end up like the ones who just got killed. I took the offer and took my stuff, leaving my necessities behind on the counter.

We were on the road to my apartment. I sat in the back seat hugging my bag as if it was my teddy bear. Thoughts filled my head and I began to overthink the whole situation.  I was close to having a mental breakdown, luckily the 2 cops who were driving me home asked if I was alright and I shook my head saying I wasn't. They offered me a drink before we continue our way to my apartments. I wasn't much of a drinker nor did I ever drink one shot of beer, but I guess it couldn't hurt right? We stopped at a nearby pub which was not so far from my place. The cops asked what I wanted to drink and just asked for a glass of Margarita slightly curious of what it was at the time.

Me and the 2 cops were having a good time them laughing and joking while I sat there just smiling. 8 pm was approaching and we were ready to head out. I told them i had to use the little girl's room for a second, so they went to the car to wait for me. After I was washing my hands after using the loo, I got my bag and walked to the exit when I bumped into someone yet again at the entrance. At this point after everything I went through in one day, I didn't look up when I bumped into this guy. I heard this guy scoff and walk past me, this gave me relief. I headed to the car and we proceeded to head off.

Few minutes passed and I arrive at my apartment building. I wave the cops goodbye and they remind me to keep safe and be aware before heading off to find some more fun things to do. I enter my apartment building only to find Sebastian on the stairs. "Oh hey buddy! How ya doin'?" I asked just to hide the fact I'm still horrified by what I saw hours ago. Sebastian just looked up at me not smiling. The look on his face worried me and He just sat there almost about to tear up. I sat by him trying to comfort him as much as I could. Suddenly he broke down on my shoulder and of course me sitting there comforting him. "S-She's dead..." he said still crying soaking my uniform. "Who is?" I asked. He showed a photo on his phone that the officials sent him. Turns out one of the people who were murdered a while ago was his sister who I never really heard much of. I told him that everything will be okay, but he thought the negative side of things. He and I went our separate ways after.

As I entered my apartment locking my door again, I went inside my bedroom not bothering to change my clothes. I laid there trying to understand what the hell was going on. First the mystery guy, then the murders and frequently seeing the same guy on my way to work. Nothing adds up. Why now? Why did these occurrences happen? Is it a warning? or is this all a nightmare?
