• After the Welsh and the Tuatha Dé Danann formed an alliance, Kai (Aderyn's older sibling) took a trip to Ireland where she had a shillelagh made for Aderyn. She gave it to her in part so she could have a good weapon and in part so she could use it to walk after she has a seizure. The shillelagh is loaded which means it has lead in it to give it more weight.
• Aderyn is afraid of cats. She got eaten by one once.
• She eats birdseed and small animals like spiders and mice sometimes.
• When they were young, Rhiannon would throw two mice into the cage of the Adar Rhiannon so that she could watch them fight. There were three of them so one would always lose out, usually Aderyn. Kai would occasionally give her part of her mouse out of pity. She's still bitter about it.
• Originally, the Adar Rhiannon would use the bodies of human sacrifices as vessels. When people quit sacrificing others, they had to improvise. Now, they reuse skin from previous bodies and occasionally steal it from their human victims. This is why they have patchwork skin.
• Originally, the Adar Rhiannon were just entertainment, court musicians and acrobats. Only after Rhiannon and Pwyll joined the ranks of the gods did they become warriors.
• Aderyn has a tendency to hide food around wherever she's living. She also always carries a bag of birdseed with her.
• The Adar Rhiannon are viewed as pets by Rhiannon. She put a lot of energy into training them and has had them sterilized.
• Kai and Aderyn get along sometimes. While they disagree on many things, they'll always back each other up. Neither of them get along very well with the eldest of the Adar Rhiannon, Rowan.
• Arawn (God of the Underworld) gave each of the Adar Rhiannon two hounds. These hounds are freakishly large, white beasts with red eyes and ears. They are known to chase down criminals and drag them to hell. Their growling can only be heard by their victims, it's loud when they're far away, but gets quieter as they get closer.
• Occasionally, a feather will grow out of the heads of the Adar Rhiannon. It usually appears after they turn into a bird. They usually just pull it out. These feathers can be very useful in spells. Lighting one on fire creates a smoke that can put almost anything to sleep.
• Aderyn loves kids.
• Aderyn has trained in a type of bataireacht for many years. She and Kai meet up sometimes to practice together, but for the most part she practices alone.
