Taiyō Kenshi flew to the sky with his fellow members of fire team S014.
"Taiyo you ready to fight some devil beetles?" Moto rīdā asked.
"You know I always am." Taiyo brought out his razor sharp katana from the ring on his finger.
"Dude why do you use that katana, there are so many other weapons you could choose." Moto rīdā said.
"I like this sword. It's as simple as that." Taiyo said.
"Devil beetles, three o'clock!" A member of their fire team shouted.
"More six o'clock and nine o'clock!" Another yelled.
"We're surrounded!" Moto rīdā shouted out.
Just then a chimera came up from the clouds.
"Chimera twelve o'clock!" Taiyo said.
"Shit." Moto rīdā was worried.
"Are we too late?" Kanata Age from fire team S128 asked flying at high speeds with his group.
"Just in time old friend." Taiyo smiled.
Fire teams S128 and S014 fought against the devil beetles. The chimera was charging up for a shot.
"The chimera is charging up." Chloe, captain of S128, said.
"I got and idea. S128 force half of these damn bugs and we'll get the others." Taiyo said as Chloe nodded and everyone got in position.
Chloe's and Moto's teams were forcing the devil beetles in the way of the chimera's shot path.
"Watch out!!" Kanata yelled as the chimera shot and everyone moved out of the way.
The shot destroyed most of the devil beetles but more kept coming.
"We need to stop this." Taiyo said looking towards the chimera.
"How?" Yuri of S128 asked.
"Everyone head back. I'll take them down." Taiyo said.
"Are you crazy?" Moto said "This is an army of devil beetles what will you do?"
"Trust me. I'll be fine." Taiyo smiled.
"Don't lie or I'll slap you." Moto said. "Everyone fallback!"
Both fire teams, except Taiyo, left.
"All right meinu, If I go down, you'll PERISH!!" Taiyo started slashing at devils beetles.
The devil beetles slashed and stabbed Taiyo. He turned towards the chimera.
"Let's finishes this baka." He flew towards it at high speeds. He stopped right in front of the chimera.
"Exitium!!" He yelled as he and his sword were engulfed in flames. He went up to the top of the chimera and made a cut and went inside it.
A few seconds later the chimera bursts open and Taiyo falls all the way back down to earth where the devil beetles are.
At least I saved Mistgun. He thought as he crashed straight through an old building.
The next day...
Taiyo stood up in time to see devil beetles coming to him. He picked up his katana and destroyed the insects.
"Maybe being here his good. I can destroy the place devil beetles are made." He jumped out of the building and into a collapsed street.
Everything around him seemed to have a red mist. Devil beetles everywhere searching for food.
"So this is Earth....damn you devil beatles." He looked around.
A few minutes later he found a place where he guessed the devil beetles launched off of. He flew to the nearest building and landed on what was left of the roof.
"Exitium." He said as he shot a massive fire blast at the area. Thousands of devil beetles converged on his coordinates. "Damn it." He said as he ran away from the building.

Moto and his fire team, alone with S128 stood in front of a gravestone that was on a mountain.
"Taiyo, you will be missed by every sky wizard here. You were one of the best in the group. The...only sad thing is that your family won't remember you. Wherever you are now, we hope you're doing well." Moto gave the eulogy for Taiyo's funeral.
