Even if you leave with all of me...

My heart is like two needles in a clock...

I just hover over the same place..

I believe I'll be over you...

The room was enveloped with darkness, with only the moonlight illuminating it from the window. Along with the radio was the crashing rain, but Yamaguchi's sobs could still be heard from underneath the covers. He still couldn't accept the fact that Tsukishima is already with someone else, and Kuroo of all people. 

Although he's slowly healing, little things that remind him of his past love still bothers him. Library dates, Dinosaur plushies, and the time they spent on the same bed together. Not even his favorite food, soggy fries, can take it off his mind. Fortunately enough, this doesn't get in the way of his daily life.

His phone kept on ringing, but he ignored it like it was non-existent. After a few minutes, it stopped and lit up. He was greeted with 13 missed calls and a text from his friend Hinata.

"We're always with you Yama, hang in there :D" - Hinata

Yamaguchi's face formed a little smile. He got up, dried his tears, washed himself, and tucked himself to bed. The next morning, he found himself late for his job. With only instant noodles and bread in his stomach, he ran with all his might to catch the nearest train.

He arrived to his workplace barely on time, he can't afford to be late even in his situation. He was struggling to catch his breath. Luckily enough, there was a vending machine right beside him. "Who knew this vending machine would actually come in handy?". He grabbed a drink, and proceeded to his station.

Noontime means lunch break for everyone, and Yamaguchi has done his work nice and error-free, just as always. Just when he thought he could eat peacefully, here come Hinata with his everyday clumsiness.

"Can you help me again today Yamaguchi?" Hinata asked with a shy smile, hand gently scratching his nape. "Just what have you done wrong today?!" Yamaguchi scowled, he was ready to give Hinata another earful.

"I already took care of it Yamaguchi, no need to worry!" Yachi spoke from behind. Hearing those words made him let out a sigh of relief, "Why thank you, Yachi." and continued to eat. The two seated themselves on both Yamaguchi's sides and ate with him.

"Why is today so tiring? It makes me wanna go drink after work." Hinata complained while munching on his meat buns. "Since when was any day not tiring for you Hinata?" Yamaguchi stated while drinking his banana slushie. "Speaking of drinks, I heard were going out for a company dinner tonight. I'm expecting you to come Yamaguchi." said by their Team Leader Yachi. 

Hinata's face brightened up, "Now that's great motivation right there!" he chuckled. On the other hand, Yamaguchi was unsure what to feel. "Of all the people you could've said that to, Why me?" he asked with a seemingly annoyed face. "Use this chance to forget the past Yama, maybe try and hook up with someone." Yachi replied with a wink. "As someone with experience, I think that is in fact, a great idea!" Hinata added with a smirk.

Their gazes were directed at Yamaguchi, its as if they were in cahoots with each other. Before he knew it, Yamaguchi was lured into a trap. He can't possibly deny something that even their team leader suggested. "Ugh. Fine." he answered, then rolled his eyes. After a few more chatting, their lunch break was nearing its end, it was time to go back to work. 

"Don't forget about the dinner Yamaguchi!" Yachi reminded and dashed off. He knew he was walking into trouble, but he realized that it was indeed a good opportunity to do the thing he wants most.

To forget...

So instead of turning it down, he decided to go with it. He'll just have to clean up his own mess, if ever he makes one. With that thought in mind, he continued work like usual and finished right on time. Hinata, with his slow typing skills, was left behind and was advised to come later after he had finished his work.

The walk wasn't long, only a 10 minute stroll from SN Corporation to Chikara's Smoking Pub. From the outside, it looks just like a normal pub where you eat and drink. To his surprise, the interior was far from what he thought. Little did he know that walking through that one door, would welcome him into an overly dark and colorful dance floor. 

"Apparetly, the boss' cousin owns this place. So he rented out the whole pub!" Yachi explained. Everyone's jaw dropped but was immediately replaced with big grins and laughter. "This isn't so bad after all." Yamaguchi said with his mouth open, still overwhelmed by the interior designs. The team then proceeded above, where the food was being served. 

The building was a mix of Modern and Traditional Interior. the club-like dance floor below, and the Japanese style dinng area above. Another team of people were already sitting before them. The Johzenji Team, which handles all their outside connections of the company. While their team, Karasuno, handles all inside activity. 

Everyone was eating with smiles stamped on their faces. Some are even drunk already, to the point that they had to leave early. "Mind if I go get a drink downstairs?" Yamaguchi asked, making Hinata and Yachi give off a wide grin. "Not at all Yamaguchi. Not at all!" both replied with suggestive faces.
