Yachi and Hinata were having lunch together, "I wonder what Yamaguchi's up to these days." Hinata uttered. He was stuffing his face with meat buns, "Yeah, it's not like him to take a week off work without a reason. Plus it's literally been a week, so I guess we'll be seeing him tomorrow right?" Yachi added. They continued eating, still clueless about the man's current activity.

Work was hard, but they finished right on time. They had left the company with their partners right by their side. The next day, everyone woke up to a cloudy morning. No fresh golden sunlight to be seen outside. Instead, it were grey skies bundled with the cold morning breeze. Despite the situation, work was still apprehended by the officials.

Time passed and it was already lunch break. Fortunately, they were given half the day off because the skies grew darker. Although, Yamaguchi still seems to be not around. This got Yachi and Hinata worried, so instead of going home, they decided to pay Yamaguchi a visit. But just after they passed through security, Yachi received a meassage.

"Hey Yachi, I know this seems odd but I have prepared a resignation letter on my desk. Please give it to the boss if you come pay a visit. I had fun spending time with you guys, it was truly great to have met you in this lifetime. But sadly, I cannot take it anymore, this longing and this excruciating pain. I'm meeting my parents soon. This is goodbye, I guess?"

Yachi words were nowhere to be heard. He pulled Hinata quickly and started running toward Yamaguchi's house. Even while running, Yachi managed to send a message to someone that could be of help. With that taken care of, all they had to do was run and prevent whatever was gonna happen.

The other person also rushed to the scene, hoping that he can change his way of thinking. He came, fast as lightning, and arrived earlier than the two. The man waas catching his breath, running up the stairs was his best option. Now he was at Yamaguchi's front door, "Yamaguchi? Can you hear me?" He shouted. He reached for the door, when suddenly, it creaked open. It was unlocked.

Quickly, he rummaged through his house, looking for Yamaguchi. He searched every nook and corner, but he wasn't able to find him. Still, he did not let that stop him. He stood there, thinking whatever place would be ideal for suicide. When suddenly , a cold breeze crept up his skin. From there he turned around, thunder flashed and clapped, and there he was, Yamaguchi. Standing atop the balcony railings, he was ready to jump. His mind was clear, everything inaudible, eyes full of emptiness, nothing but black with no life present.

Is this it?

Is this the end?

"Yamaguchi!Stop!" The man can be heard shouting from behind.

Dark skies,

Thunder,

"Tadashi, no!" He closed his distance to Yamaguchi, bumping into whatever was in the way, causing loud clattering noises and a whole heap of mess.

Yamaguchi started to lean towards the depth, his body was ready to hit the cold hard ground, when suddenly, a hand pulled him from behind. Yamaguchi came back to his senses, "Why did you stop me?" He angrily asked. The man held Yamaguchi tight, restraining him from climbing back. "Please stop this Yamaguchi!" The man pleaded, worry can clearly be seen in his eyes. "This is none of your business Terushima! Let me go!" Yamaguchi's yelling can be heard from the inside, alarming the neighboring people.

Yamaguchi continued to break free, but he was no match for Terushima's strength. Yamaguchi fell on his knees, crying. "Why? Why did you have to stop me, Terushima?" He asked with a shaky voice. "It may not be my business but there are still people who love you out there Yamaguchi." He started speaking. "I know how it hurts, but at least have some faith in the people around you."

"No you don't!" Yamaguchi yelled at him. Causing tears to burst down his face rapidly. "I never had a father Yamaguchi." Yamaguchi was silenced, "I was born with only my mother supporting me, and she died early. Believe me I've been there." Tears started falling off Terushima's face. "Please, Yamaguchi stop this." Terushima's sobs weren't a hindrance for his words were spoken clearly. "I might not be as loving and caring as your parents, but please!" Yamaguchi's eyes widened, "Please, at least let me be the reason for you to live!"

Yachi and Hinata had already arrived moments ago, but they were not able to do anything. Yachi was by the doorstep, trying to catch her breath while being frozen in place. Hinata, even though unaware of the situation, started crying when he saw Yamaguchi throwing himself off the ledge. The both of them stood there, giving their undivided attention to the two people crying on the floor.
