He was getting the familiar feeling of warmth once again. He took a sip of the coffee and read what was written on the sticky note:

"Have a nice day Yamaguchi! :)"

His face immediately formed a smile. Knowing someone still remembers him in little things makes him ridiculously happy. "What's this? Yamaguchi is smiling?" Hinata spoke from behind, mocking him with an annoying face. "None of your business you human tangerine." Yamaguchi replied, still smiling at the coffee.

"If only we knew coffee would bright up your day, we should've just bought you a pack." Hinata mockingly laughed at him. "It's not the coffee though." Yamaguchi giggled, surprising Hinata with this unusual behavior. He was speechless. To think that this was the same heartbroken Yamaguchi as before, no words could possibly explain this situation.

'He's found happiness?' Hinata thought to himself, 'If so, I should help him reach it.' He reciprocated Yamaguchi's smile and went back to his seat. Determination was burning within Hinata's small body, giving him the energy he needed to work through the day. And it turned out pretty good, seeing as he did not make any mistakes all day.

"Looking good today Hinata!" Yachi complimented him, "Did something happen?" Hinata's eyes were beaming with excitement. He can't wait to tell Yachi what happened earlier today. Hinata moved closer to share this "news" that got Hinata so hyped up. "What?! Really?!" Yachi was shocked. "Are you really sure about that Hinata?" Yachi can't believe what she heard.

Their gossip on Yamaguchi kept on going for quite some time, until they heard him speak behind them. "I see you're both talking about me?" Yachi and Hinata were startled, "Eh... hehehehe." The atmosphere between them became awkward, the two of them showing embarrassed smiles. "If you're plotting something, better tell me now." Yamaguchi insisted, giving them a deadly stare.

"W-We were just taking you out for d-dinner! Are you free?" Hinata whimpered, hiding behind Yachi. "He was actually just telling me how you were smiling like crazy earlier." she explained, grabbing Hinata's clothes to stand him upright. "Pfft... Is it really that big of a deal?" Yamaguchi giggled. "But I'm not in the mood for dinner. I'd have to decline that." He just walked away, showing them a great smile from ear to ear.

Yachi can't believe her eyes. Their friend, whose eyes were filled with loneliness, is now sparkling. "This certainly is something major Hinata." Yachi was rendered speechless, "And you're saying this is because of that coffee?"  she was dumbfounded. The only thing occupying in her mind right now is Yamaguchi. 'He is smiling., He is smiling? HE IS SMILING!! , and on top of that, HE JUST GIGGLED!!', Yachi was screaming internally.

"I know Yachi, too good to be true. Right?" Hinata smirked, having proved to her that he was right. "We need to know who this mysterious person is Hinata!" Yachi shook the orange head, showing her determined look. "But isn't that kind of invading his privacy?" Hinata questioned, but he's got a point though. If they were to do that kind of thing, it would be the same as stalking him.

"But we can't risk him being hurt again Hinata..." Yachi sighed, "He's been through worse, even after losing his parents he also lost his one and only sunshine." They both fell silent. Seeing how he's been well up to now made them realize that not only is he hanging on, but he is also broken inside. He needs someone to mend him, someone to attach his broken pieces back together.

It was 8 o'clock in the evening, and Yamaguchi was walking on the sidewalk. Fresh out of work, with the cold night breeze gently brushing his skin. The streets at night are much brighter than they are at the day. With their bright neon lights illuminating the surroundings, and the peaceful ambience it gives off.

"If only everyday were like this." Yamaguchi whispered. He let out a sigh and put up a smile, walked down the streets carrying his briefcase and himself.  While strolling, an air of melancholy surrounded him. He was wandering off, taking an unconscious trip to memory lane. Yamaguchi remembered how he would walk alongside his mother through the streets carrying shopping bags.

He and his parents would go out for weekends and do bonding stuff. Shopping, playing, amusement parks, literally anything they could think of. Thinking of this made him laugh, If only he knew that the beach were their last destination together, he wouldn't have come. "Guess  goodbyes aren't said every time huh?" he chuckled, "I'm doing just fine though, no need to worry."

He kept on walking, still reminiscing good old times with his parents. Yamaguchi looked up, the sea of stars were nowhere to be found on the infinite night sky. It was only a matter of time before it starts raining again. This time, he remembered to bring an umbrella. Although crying in the rain sounds like a good idea, he doesn't want to risk his health by doing so.
