Chapter 1: First Day

Camriya woke up to the annoying sound of her alarm clock. She banged it quiet. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and went downstairs. Her mother was making breakfast, GoodMorning Cam, she said. Morning mom, Camriya replied. A hot plate of eggs, bacon, and toast was placed in front of her. Thanks mama, She said. your welcome sweety, I had to do something nice for you today I know its a big day for you, your a senior in High School now. Her mom explained. Awe thank you mom Camriya said as she took a bite of the eggs. She gobbled down the rest of her food and went up stairs to shower. After getting out she put on a purple tank top revealing her caramel arms, then she put on some light blue jeans with rips in them and a pair of purple vans.  She took her hair out of the bun and her natural curls fell onto her back. She applied a ittle make up and grabbed her backpack. She grabbed her phone off the dresser and went downstairs. It was 7:30 am. She didn't have to be at school until 10:00am. She plopped on the couch and watched tv. Her phone buzzed, It was her best friend Chyanna.

Chyanna: Hey Gurrrl! I can't believe we're seniors!

She viewed the message and smiled. Camriya: Omg! I know I'm so excited to see you soon!

Chyanna: How bout now? Camriya looked at that message in comfusion, what does that mean? There was a knock on the door, she opened it to see Chyanna standing in the door way! Hi I missed you so much, I cant believe we didn't spend summer together. Chyanna said. Me too I missed you Chy, I can't believe your here...you're so crazy I didn't understand what you were saying. Camriya replied. Haha I knew you were confused, well how was your summer, what did you do? Well, my mom took me and my little sister to Arizona and we saw the Grand Canyon, it was really cool. Camriya explained. Camriya motioned Chyanna to come in. They went to sit on the couch.  What did you do Chyanna, how was your summer? It was really good I went to spend it with my dad in New York. Awe thats awesome Camriya replied. Hey where is your little sister? Chyanna asked. Shes at school she had to go in early because she is an incoming freshman. Camriya replied. Oh yeah thats right little Jazlynn is a freshy this year, Chyanna squealed. Camriya glanced at her phone and noticed it was 9:27am. Oh, its getting kinda late you think we should start going now Camriya asked. Yeah let's go. Chyanna said. Camriya went and told her mom bye and grabbed her keys off the counter. About 20 minutes later they were at school. Camriya and Chyanna arrived at school at 9:44am. When they got there everyone was scrambled all over the campus reuniting with their friends. Camriya and Chyanna went and sat at bench. A line of freshmen were being toured around the school, Camriya spotted Jazlynn and smiled. Jazlynn returned it and went a long with the group. God, I can't believe my little sister is already in high school. Camriya said. Awe I know, She's so grown up now, My little brother is going into 8th grade and I'm freakin out on him. Finally the bell rang and they told each other good bye and went to class. Camriya had math first which she was dreading. She payed attention anyways. Class after class and she finally got to lunch which was 5th period. She met up with Chyanna. How do you like your classes so far Camriya asked. Yeah I like them a lot, I got theatre 4th period Im glad they gave me that class again. Chyanna said. That's good I'm glad. What about you? How do you like your classes? Chyanna asked. They're pretty good. I have Choir 3rd hour and Art 4th hour. Camriya explained. That's good, I know you wanted choir Chyanna replied. Yeah I did, I wonder where Jazlynn is, she said she had second lunch too. Just then she spotted light brown curls. She knew that was her. She was with two other girls. Camriya and chyanna continued to lunch. After eating they went outside to the warm breeze. Hey! Hey! Hey! They looked over to see a brown headed boy a few feet away from them. He came over to them, It was their friend Sam. Hey Sam, Chyanna said. Hi guys, Sam replied. Liking Senior year so far? Yeah I am acually, what about you Sam how do you like it? Camriya asked. I like its pretty good, Sam said. Hey Sam, another boy called. Aye I gotta go guys but do you want to hangout after school? I can't I have work right after school Camriya replied. Awe man okay, Do you want to Chyanna? Sam asked. Okay sure she said. After that the bell rang to go to 6th hour. Camriya had  english. After that she got to go home early she didn't have a class 7th hour, but it didn't matter because she had work...She got in her car and left for work.
