Chapter 2: Who is that?

Camriya arrived at work at 2:30pm. She worked a store that sales dvds, cds, books and more called Zia Records. She went inside and colcked in. She took her place at the cash register. She rang people's things up and helped people find things.

                                                        Camriya's POV

I am so tired today, I hope this goes by quickly. My head was pounding. I just wanted to be home in my bed listening to music. I imagined my fluffy pillows and my comfy blanket and my cozy bed. I was snapped out my trance when a brown eyed guy with brown hair perfectly styled into an up do. He smiled when I finally noticed him. Hi I just want to buy this. He moved the movie toward me. I took and rang it up. Thank you. He smiled once again showing his perfectly white teeth.I smiled lightly. A few hours later I was done with my shift. I went to clock out. I waved to my boss and left. When I got home I went to mom's room. Hey mom. I said. Hi Cam. How was school and work? It was really good mom, I'm just tired I think I'm gonna go to bed early tonight. Haha okay baby, I made you a plate of dinner, its in the microwave. Okay thank you mom. I went downstairs and pulled the plate out of the microwave. It had tacos, spanish rice and beans. My mother always made mexican dishes since she was hispanic. My dad was African-American, so he was the one who taught me to make fried chicken, or home made mac & cheese. I sat at the table and ate my dinner. I missed my daddy so much. He was living in Florida with his new wife. He hardly ever called me, I called him sometimes. He always just seemed like he was too busy or something. I finished my food and went upstairs to Jazlynn's room. I knocked wating for an answer. Come in. She said. She was laying on her bed watching tv. 

Hey Jaz, I didn't get a chance to ask you how school was so how was it?

It was really good, A few of my friends from my old school are in a few of my classes and I met two other girls and a boy.

Wow, a boy, ooh Jaz get em!

Shut up Cam!

I smiled at her and she giggled.

Well that's good I'm glad you liked it, I'm pretty tired so i'm gonna go to bed I love you Jaz.

Okay, Night. I love you too.

I walked across the hall to my room. I layed down finally acually in my comfy blankets and pillows. I smiled to myelf. I clicked Pandora on my phone. I stopped for a moment remembering today at the store. Who was that guy? I shrugged it off and plugged my head phones into my phone. Come thru~ Drake. Ugh, this is my song. His words came into my head making me feel amazing. Music is my escape it makes me forget all my problems and make all the stress go away. I listened to a few more songs and then I went to sleep. I woke up kind of dreading school, it wasn't even the end of the week yet and I wanted it to be over. I went downstairs. Jazlynn was already down there. 

Hey Cam.

Hey Jaz.

I grabbed the Fruity Pebbles out of the pantry. I made a bowl and sat on the couch. I finished it quickly and went to change my clothes for school. I wore a White T and some jean shorts. I put on my shoes and went back downstairs.

Come on Jazlynn its time to go.

Okay be right there.

Soon she came downstairs. We got into my car and I drove us to school. When I got there Jaz got out of the car quickly running off to her friends. I smiled, gosh she's so grown up now. I turned of my car and walked over to Chyanna.

Wassup girl?

How was hanging out with Sam?

It was really fun acually, he took me to his house and we watched movies and listened to music, I missed him over the summer.

Awe, that's good I'm glad, I wish I could have came.

I know, me too it was really fun. How was work yesterday?

It was whatever, but aye tho there was this guy and he came to the store and he was so flirty I don't know who he was though.

Ooh girl, you got yourself a, a, a, man I don't know what you call it.

Camriya laughed.

It wasn't anything, he just I don't know...

Then, the bell rang and everyone scurried off to class. She went to a few classes, the next one was choir. Her teacher was making them learn a few songs that were on the radio for their first concert. Camriya was super excited because her teacher was letting them audition for solos. The songs they were doing were; Ariana Grande Love me harder, Taylor Swift You belong with me and lastly Micheal Jackson Rock with you. Camriya really wanted to solo for Rock with you. This was their first concert so they didn't have that many songs. Mrs. Karry, her teacher gave the class the lyrics to the songs and the information for auditioning.
